CDog Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 He said today that he's playing next week. Good to get him back in the lineup. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 i think its a huge bost offensively to have him in the lineup. no offense to whoever sits but the trupper is needed Quote
Old Time Hockey Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 My hope is that Miller is the odd man out! Won't matter as the 4th line won't play much. Quote
AussieSiouxFan Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 That is great Trupp is back in the lineup, he brings another dimension of scoring to whatever line he plays on which the Sioux will need against BC, I just hope he is not rusty. Quote
nodak hockey fanatic Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 awesome news... i think he is our x factor next weekend. i predict a big goal against bc from the trupp line (with vv and martens? or does frattin come back to play with his fellow frosh?) either way, awesome news! go sioux! Quote
Sioux-cia Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I predict at least one Sports Center highlight goal from our little big man!!! Quote
The Sicatoka Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 I'm not exactly sure that's what Hakstol said at media day today .... Optimistic? Yes. Certain? No. Quote

Big A HG Posted April 3, 2008 Posted April 3, 2008 Evan wanted to play this past weekend. Giving him two more weeks should be enough time to get him on the ice. Trupper will play and I can't wait. The man is one of our most dynamic players. I even like to think back to the Manitoba game where he made the diving stop on the breakaway. Quote

brianvf Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 This article certainly sounds promising! http://www.grandforksherald.com/articles/i...;section=sports Quote
YaneA Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 Hooray for Trupp, it'll be great to see him shaking up The Can! The picture on the sports front page of Trupp at practice clearly shows that, while recuperating, he was not-grooming himself so as to become a member of our Mustache Mob. O, the beauty, the splendor, the wonder of that facial hair! Quote
Goon Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 This article certainly sounds promising! http://www.grandforksherald.com/articles/i...;section=sports he has his stache going as well... Quote
dallassiouxfan Posted April 4, 2008 Posted April 4, 2008 he has his stache going as well... Is that thing drawn on? Looks like something I would grow. Quote
frnkdrcmn Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Anyone hear how he's doing in practice? Full go...rusty? Seems like a very short time to heal a bone. Quote
AZSIOUX Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Anyone hear how he's doing in practice? Full go...rusty? Seems like a very short time to heal a bone. im sure he wouldnt be playing if he couldnt go FULL GO Quote
Oxbow6 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Word on the street in Denver is Trupp is NOT likely to play tomorrow. Not ruled out but not likely. Quote
choyt3 Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 Word on the street in Denver is Trupp is NOT likely to play tomorrow. Not ruled out but not likely. Hennesey was on with Dan Hammer a bit ago. He said that they have NOT decided as of yet and it would be determined after practice today. If he can't go at game speed today, he won't play tomorrow. For whatever that is worth... Quote
minnysioux Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 This is hearsay but.....I just got of the phone with my buddy in denver and he said trupper won the shootout @ the pepsi center this afternoon. Quote
minnysioux Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 ^I heard Bina won it, over Trupp. My friend isn't the biggest hockey rube....he probably had the little guys mixed up. I'm turning off my computer and going to the airport! Let's go Sioux! Quote
AZSIOUX Posted April 9, 2008 Posted April 9, 2008 This is hearsay but.....I just got of the phone with my buddy in denver and he said trupper won the shootout @ the pepsi center this afternoon. which doesnt mean he will play or not play. either way the sioux will be ready! Quote
AussieSiouxFan Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 ^I heard Bina won it, over Trupp. I was there and yes bina won it. trupp was practicing on the scratched line with Forney and i think it was Davidson so it does not look like trupp is playing tomorrow but only time will tell. Quote
rochsioux Posted April 10, 2008 Posted April 10, 2008 I believe the lines in practice today were: Oshie, Duncan, Kozek Kaip, Watkins, Frattin VandeVelde, Martens, Miller Zajac, Radke, Malone Scratch "line": Trupp, Davidson, Forney Quote
