I'm beginning to think a UND-NDSU football game isn't worth having to deal with bizun fans. Just the mention of possible dates for a home and home has them flooding over here to remind us of how much they don't care about UND (regardless of how many threads Bville has on us).

Yes, I do work. No, it's not for UND/SBHE/NDUS. You say we should vote for the name "ONCE." Why? We all know if the vote was purely based on whether we like the name or not, it would pass 95-5. What's the point? It's not about that anymore. It's about doing what is best for UND and the state of ND.

Are you incapable of separating a national championship from playing UND?? Again, the 2 are NOT mutually exclusive. I know it's difficult for NDSU students to think about 2 things at once, but it is possible to do both.

You did say that, but then you continued on with your line of how the National Championship is more important. I agree it's more important, but the 2 aren't mutually exclusive. If you're "not saying playing UND would've kept NDSU from winning the national championship," then why would you even bring it up?

NDSU had more scholarships so in UND's view, it wouldn't have been fair competition. I guess I didn't realize a national championship and a UND-NDSU game were mutually exclusive. Ahh.... the stupidity of bizun "logic."

Are you referring to Johnboy's post? He might be sarcastic about the "nickname at all costs crowd" giving him hope, but he has stated multiple times he is serious about voting "no" on the measure.

That's what I was thinking. I don't think it looks bad or anything, it just seemed odd.

Not that it's a big deal or anything, but is it normal for both "Betty Engelstad Sioux Center" logos to be facing the same direction? I realize they both face the press box this way, but I figured they'd want the one on the far side to face the crowd on that side. All things considered I think the floor looks pretty nice though....

Not if SCSU drops football if/when they move to the NCC 2.0 I guess by that time UND won't have football either (if the nickname is kept).

Apparently you're new here and new to this debate also. You're calling ira out on inaccuracies and yet you failed to point out a single one. The nickname debate is no longer about sticking it to the NCAA (those attempts have already failed). It's about doing what is best for UND. Please take the time to educate yourself on this issue and use some logic in deciding which way to vote on 6/12.

Freudian slip?? Agree with most everything stated, but did NDSU really say they won't schedule UND due to the name? I know the article said they postponed negotiations until after the nickname issue was settled, but I guess I didn't read that as "we won't schedule you until you're off sanctions." Was there another article on the subject?? Regardless, the sanctions and list of teams refusing to play us are bad enough even without NDSU.
