When and where is UND hosting the "banner burning?"

I say just the current students (in 2014 or whenever they get rolling on a new name) vote and then it goes to the President for final approval. Note: I am not a current student. Also, when I say a vote of current students I mean all students, not just the student government.

Billings County voted 150-148 to keep the name. That's the only one so far to vote against UND.

I'd prefer this not to become a pissing contest, but I grew up attending basketball (mens and womens), football, and hockey. Still have season tickets for all 4 and catch an occasional volleyball game. When I grew up I did go to UND, maybe that's why I care about more than just the nickname.

It's looking like M1 will pass actually. Carlson had it written in a very misleading way to make it look like it would put greater restrictions on legislators being appointed to state positions.

That's an answer in and of itself isn't it.

I think so, as long as they've established residency in the state. Not sure what that takes exactly. Golden Valley of western ND is in with a yes for UND!

Sorry to veer off course, but in the early goings it is looking like Carlson was successful with M1 and its confused wording. Good to see McKenzie (at least 2 precincts anyways) voting for UND from the western edge of the state.
