That schedule is designed to get a team into the playoffs. It's unfortunate UND will have a freshman qb and a suspect defense for it. Hopefully they can right the ship on defense and Mollberg comes in ready to play.

So it's homecoming week, we have a conference game against a ranked opponent who has a good defense and a ball control offense, and the next football game between UND and ndsu is not on the schedule for an indefinite period of time. Let's get back on topic. Edit: I have also read that NAU has a habit of starting hot and cooling off as the season goes on. Hopefully UND can start NAU's cold spell on saturday.

Sac St is also still getting a number of votes. I'm sure after they lose to Cal Poly and E. Wash (2 top 10 teams) later this year they won't receive any more votes though either......

To be fair, South Dakota State and Montana should probably be switched. At least given what each has shown thus far this season. But I agree the Big Sky is much stronger than Moo U blowhards will admit. Granted I'm still not sure whether there is anybody in the Sky who will be able to take down the Cows in the playoffs. Edit: Illinois State could also have an argument to get in, although probably not over any of the other Big Sky teams currently listed (other than Montana).

I loved going to games there as a kid. I remember the crowd would get the wave going perfectly!! Now 3/4 of the crowd is too lazy and comfortable in their cushioned seats to stand up for the wave, many people don't even stand for goals.....

Yes, except when it's fraud charges, because those aren't even serious. But in all seriousness, suspensions when charged with ANYTHING?? No, a player should not be suspended for a simple traffic violation (speeding, running a red (yellowish-red) light, etc).

I guess I'm not sure either, I thought they were at least considering filing charges. Typically when a minor goes to the hospital with alcohol issues there are MIC charges....

Ok, I can accept that. Just to let you know, it is probable the hockey players who don't have prior records will all receive deferred sentences on their minors and they probably won't have to do any court-ordered community service (unless the judge treats them differently due to being hockey players).

Do you believe UND should've suspended any of the hockey players for their party? Just curious.

We don't know if that's the case or not, but I'd imagine if he did it pro bono and didn't make a similar offer to the other 5 people charged (who aren't/are no longer Bison football players) the NCAA would have a problem with it.
