Did Dousette drop us or did we drop her? Any big loss?

Bubba's recruiting class last year was spectacular. This year our football team's appeal should be even better. We have added the IPF and we were for all practical purposes a playoff team this year. Hopefully the selection committee is not corrupt next year. Bubba and the boys know how to evaluate talent. It doesn't matter who has offered who. This coaching staff will coach them up. They know who to recruit and they know what to do with them when they get them here. Can't wait for signing day and for next season.

I think we have a very young team with some hope for the future but I am not sure Jones is going be around to see that future. As far as that goes I think our women's team has concerns for this year and for the future too.

That lack of a pass interference call against SHSU is one of the worst no calls I have ever seen. Feel bad for So. Utah.

After listening to the hot air from the committee chair it would of been nice if he could of actually justified why we didn't get in. He gave a lot of different reasons in general why teams did or didn't get in, but he never ever connected the dots as to why we didn't get in and at least 3 or 4 other teams got in ahead of us when they shouldn't of. What a rambling message he sent. He just simply could not connect the dots. If he actually would of compared any of those teams against UND it just wouldn't of added up.

I think we are all missing the big picture. They can justify any decision any way they want. They did NOT want UND in the playoffs and he wanted Eastern Illinois from his own conference in. That is all it really came down too. Everything else is a smoke screen.

In fairness to Jack, I would guess the only way the guy came on to do the interview was with the understanding Jack wasn't going to get down and dirty. Jack should of laid out the comparison of the schedules of UND and Eastern Illinois more clearly so the guy would of had a harder time defended their decision. I am sure he would have just thrown some vague reasons to support their decision. It would of just been BS. He definitely got off easy.

Didn't our women's basketball team that won the Big Sky regular season and conference tournament have to travel to Texas for March Madness and USD got to stay close to home and go to the Regional we thought we were going to be playing in. (USD was lower ranked than we were) Seems like UND coaches thought our women's team got the short end of the stick too. Let's face it, NCAA is still holding a grudge against UND.

Of course we are all just getting a feeling for the team but Crandall and Seales are going to be really good players. . This team is so young. Bernstein apparently isn't a good free throw shooter so I guess I think he might have driven or shot more than I would have liked to have seen, down the stretch of the ballgame. The team will continue to get better.

3 or 4 years from it is going to be shown that this years recruiting class was spectacular. I hope we have another class like that this year.

With Portland State win, if UND wins we are in. I would be shocked it that isn't the case.

The very weekend we are making the final vote for the nickname we have team coming in to play our hockey team that has Hawks in their name. It is very common in college nicknames and for that reason I am voting for Roughriders so we can at least be a little unique.

Does anybody know anything about Gorres? How good of recruit is she?

The highest award the state of North Dakota gives out is the Roughrider Award. If for no other reason, Roughriders is the one for me.

Who knows if we will win 1 or 2 of the last 2 games. We might lose them both. Isn't it refreshing to talk about the possibilities. We have a realistic shot of making the playoffs so let's talk about it.

I would think the team is very motivated right now. They have a week to heal up and if they win the next 2 games there is a decent chance they could make the playoffs. They have beaten 2 ranked teams one which was Portland State who his having a great year. We also have an FBS win. I think 7 wins will get us in.

Wow. I would hope that your average high school student isn't picking the college he wants to pursue his college education on based on how well he likes their nickname. I am not sure UND needs those kind of students.

From the very beginning they said there had to be a 50% majority to become the new nickname. With 3 names in their now how many votes will it take to get that 50%? I think they would have to live by what they had said. Eventually they will have to narrow it down to 2. I did think we had done that.

Until we have a quarterback who can throw it to a receiver we are going to have a hard time finishing games.

Why would anyone want to go to Wyoming right now?

From where we came from the last few years, how come there is so much negativity? Can't we just enjoy the moment. Did anybody really expect us toe be the perfect team in a year? It takes a little longer than that to rebuild.

Let's just keep winning. Who knows. Maybe we will play another game in Fargo this year. Or maybe they will come to Forks this time. You never know.
