I agree. The mods should set a thread just for the Bison fans to come and brag about their team. I have no problem with that. Let's keep this threads for UND fans to talk sensibly about recruiting. It does seem like a fair request.

I think even casual fans could see how much losing Evers affected our chances of knocking off the Gophers. We lost by 13 points to the Gophers but I think most fans that understand basketball will give UND another chance. AT least I would hope they would. The SDSU women had a 10 point lead late against Green Bay tonight in Brookings and lost. They were throwing it all over the place. I think their fans will continue to come to games at SDSU. We have a pretty good fan base for women's basketball right now and they will come to future games.

I think the team might of relaxed a little when they got the big lead. Stuff like that can happen on an opponents floor. It was great to see them bounce back in the overtime though. After losing that lead they could of easily lost the game. To be honest with you I am not sure that the Bison normally get the 3's to drop like they did last night. But to their credit they made them and that is why they had a chance to win. Our team does have some tenacity.

Getting around isn't much more difficult than Grand Forks. A second here or a second their. Not a lot of difference. That excuse isn't going to cut it.

If we had won the Montana game like we should of, we would have had .500 season. Great year. Need to improve our pass protection for QB, improve our defensive secondary , and improve our receiver situation and it could get really exciting. There is work to do, but we made a lot of improvement from last year.

I think this is going to be a much better season than a lot of people think. I think we are going to see a heavy dose of Hooker,Tyler and DeRouen. All 3 will play a lot. I don't think it is going to matter who starts. Tough loss but I am very excited for the season.

Same here. You would think if they are hosting the tournament they would do it first class. I bet you when Idaho State plays there will be sound.

I have to give UND's offense a lot of credit. Northern Arizona knew we weren't going to pass the ball very much and even knowing that we rushed for almost 300 yards. Kudos to them. I to think this program is headed in the right direction.

McFeely will take stabs at both UND and NDSU because that creates interest in his show. But when push comes to shove, it is very obvious which bed he is sleeping in. He has a strategy, but it is really easy to see through the smoke screen, where his heart is. He is arrogant enough that he thinks he is fooling people.

I wonder if Young knew that Ferguson was going to be gone from the program when he hung it up. Young might have a golden opportunity in front of him and didn't know,

When I first heard this story I wasn't sure who to be mad at. As facts come out, the key point in all this is the fact that it was out there that the kid was going to leave the program. Therefore I don't blame Bubba for what he did. In fact it just convinces me Bubba is doing it the right way. Considering our injury situation it would of been easy for Bubba to look the other way. Go Bubba.

This is apparently Bubba doing what he had said he was going to do. He only wants players in his program that really want to be here. Maybe Dev was doing things that Bubba didn't think showed a genuine interest in being a positive part of the team.

Was Bubba's staff the one mainly responsible for the recruitment of Ferguson or was Mussman's staff involved too?

So how good is Freiji? Who else had offered her?

That is our 6th commitment for next year. Brew must be going to clean house some. We have only 3 seniors.

Considering who we have already landed for next year, is it possible we might have backed off of on some of the klds we originally offered to. I would think we don't have room for them all.

It almost looks like Joe might be losing it. He seemed very befuddled. I do think USD fans should be a little concerned and irritated. It looks like his gas tank just might be empty.

Sounds like Rocky Hager and Joe Glenn would make a great team.

How do they determine who hosts the conference tournament? There are 2 divisions with a #1 seed from each bracket.

On the radio yesterday they were talking about gas prices in Fargo. They were saying their were cheaper prices for gas in some southern stations in Fargo. You never hear those kind of conversations in Forks. It must be nice to actually have competition for customers.

So we won the game with a lot of backups (2' and 3's). We won with walkons too. If we can get healthy and keep on recruiting the future is going to be very bright.

I watched quite a bit of the game. I realize the Bison moved the ball . Like you said Montana's defense stiffened when the Bison got in the red zone. UND's defense used to be like that too. We would give up yards and yet would be tough to score on. Montana was just like that. Montana was threatening to score and NDSU picked them off in the end zone too. Each team scored one touchdown. Games are generally won by scoring touchdowns. Bison had a tough time putting the ball in the end zone. It was a very hard fought game. We will have more than our hands full.

As much as I would like to be optimistic, I think we will be in trouble. Montana gave the Bison all they could handle 2 weeks ago. Therefore I just don't think our offense will generate anything against Montana defense. I hope I am wrong. Montana by 20 to 30 something.

Is there some indication that we have any chance to get Ernst? With the list of schools he has been offered by it would seem remote that we would get him. It does help that he knows who some of his future teammates would be if he signed with UND. With some of the players in our program and with some of the players we have coming down the road, he might think this is the the place to be the future. It does look like the future could be very bright at UND for men's basketball.

Believe it or not. On Bisonville they actually started a game thread on our game with Montana State this weekend. Apparently they aren't quite over UND.
