    My immediate reaction was medium. I now think it will be alright. It is starting to grow on me. I am trying to keep an open mind. Of course nothing will replace the old logo.

    Bottom line. It is too bad we don't have a local radio station in Grand Forks who would really get behind UND sports and create a little interest in UND athletics. It just isn't happening. On a different topic, what happened to the live chats the Herald used to do all the time?

    Midco was offering a tie in with Prairie Public television on the Bison bid to cover the gaps in signal. Is that option going to be included with UND in the future too?.

    I thought I heard WDAY bid for the Bison too. I thought they had a contract with UND. When is the WDAY contract end?

    I wonder if Jack Michaels will come back to UND broadcasts now that KFGO isn't the Bison station?

    Irvine up 7 at halftime. There is a webcast.

    The most exciting part of that game was that we were playing a very very good team who was co champs of a west coast conference, and we lost a heartbreaking game in overtime and could of just of easily won. And the biggest positive of the game, most of the second half we were playing with 3 freshman on the court. Can't wait for next year. The other players that playing were freshman, sophomores and a junior. Wow. We also have some excellent additions coming next year too. UND.s team actually has a very healthy locker room environment compared to a team a little south of here.

    Doing thing s for ratings is one thing. There is also a time for being respectful and professional. He crossed that line.

    When all he said was okey dokie, that means he didn't have a comeback because he knew he was wrong. Will he than offer a modest apology tomorrow? We will see tomorrow.

    I am sure McFeeley will hear about some of this feedback. On his show tomorrow do you think he will show any remorse for his rather rude line of questioning . I don't think President Kennedy thinks of McFeeley as his "PAL". McFeeley will probably bring it up and blame Kennedy for something. President Kennedy must of been wondering what was that all about.

    It goes without saying the feelings between the 2 Universities hasn't always been rosy the past few years. I was hoping with a new President coming in that we could both get off to a fresh start. McFeeley looks like he is going to do his best to see that doesn't happen. If it is not Chapman and Bresciani, now we have McFooley trying to stir it up again.

    President Kennedy handled the answering of questions perfectly. McFeely almost seemed to be threatening Kennedy to not say that UND was the flagship station of the state anymore, and he called the President "PAL ", I would think that President Kennedy must of been thinking who is this Bozo. McFeely sure knows how to make a good first impression. President Kennedy took the high road but must of been laughing at him. McFeely calls the new President PAL for no reason. He should be very proud. Welcome to the Fargo media. It is fun to think about how differently that interview would of been handled if that were the new NDSU President.

    There is a reason for that. He is kissing NDSU butt big time because he is trying his best to get all NDSU fans to make sure they come over to WDAY to listen to his show. He his building his fan base. Not a better way to get NDSU fans to listen to your show than fall over NDSU and cause trouble for UND. Instant ratings.

    Apparently not a shining moment for either of the Fargo(NDSU) media outlets. It is a sad day when people do anything for ratings no matter what they might really feel.

    McFeely jumped on President Kennedy when he mentioned that UND was the Flagship school in the state. McFeely said that people in Fargo think NDSU is the Flagship school. He then referred to the new president as (Hey pal). McFeely tried his best to create reasons NDSU and Fargo people should dislike him. He failed.. Way to be totally professional McFeely. . McFeely's Bison colors were very evident. President Kennedy handled himself wonderfully. Kind of sad that during the first day he gets the job that MCFeely would take the low road and try to denigrate him..

    I would say we gave Weber State more than a push too. Just sayin.

    The top end teams in the Big Sky are very good teams. I have been critical of Jones a lot too but I think the job he did with this team from the beginning of the season to now at the end is commendable. He definitely deserves to stay for now.

    Idaho the number 3 seed beats Idaho State by 12.

    This team improved dramatically from the start of the year to the end. We basically have everybody back plus additions. We have gotten the attention of a lot of people. We will not sneak up on anybody. Can we just start next season now.

    Actually I think our coaching staff did a pretty good job. The defensive scheme was good. Weber State is not going to be shut down. They are too good. Whether it was coaching or not I think the ball should of been in Hooker's hands more than it was in the latter possessions. Jones didn't miss the free throws, but if Hooker had the ball those free throws might not of been missed. Hooker was in a zone all we needed to do was make sure he was given the ball when we were bringing the ball down the court. I thought Geno tightened up on a lot of his shots towards the end. Sometimes he gets way to cute on layups.

    Shanks played decently for him and everybody misses a free throw. That wasn't the problem. You can't miss the shot he missed near the end . Not ever. Particularly when you are 7 foot tall and you are right next to the basket wide open. That is why at this point in his career he can't be in there at that point in that game.

    Someone said Avants only had 4 fouls. I thought he had fouled out. I am shocked he wasn't in the game then. I know he is shorter than Shanks but when you look at what Avants does and what Shanks doesn't do, Avants needed to be in game. That was a mistake. That choice of which player should of been in there is a no brainer.
