Big A HG Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I know David has been talked a lot about on this site for a long time, but I never really heard much about his game besides he scores a ton of points with Shattuck. Is he as complete of a player as Jonathan? Is he a step up? A step down? Close to the same? Quote
WiSioux Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 This is exciting news! I only wish I would still be in college when he gets here... perhaps I'll have to pursue another degree Edit: I love the whole family thing! It seems that recently as soon as one siblings leaves, another ones comes in. Genoway, Jones, Zajac, Toews... any others in recent memory? Were the Parises on the team at the same time? Quote
Sioux Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 thats awesome. that class is going to be rediculous Quote

Depends on what you call recent. The Panzers, Ulmers and Hoogsteens come to mind. Quote

siouxstudent Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I believe that Zach and Jordan were on the team at the same time for a year. I'm not sure on this but the Lundbohms may have been brothers also. Quote
fargosioux Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I like this part of the article: Since 2001-02, other players to lead Shattuck in scoring are Tyler Ruegsegger (Denver freshman), Sidney Crosby, Zach Parise and Jonathan Toews. Quote
Kermit Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 I like this part of the article: Did Ryan Duncan lead Shattuck in scoring? A Hobey Baker winner would look more impressive on that list than Ruegsegger.. Quote
airmail Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Did Ryan Duncan lead Shattuck in scoring? I think he played on a line with "the kid" so maybe not... (maybe led in assists though) Quote
siouxcrew87 Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Welcome David, can't wait to see you in a Sioux sweater! Quote
Sioux-cia Posted July 12, 2007 Posted July 12, 2007 Welcome David. Thank you Jonathan for your part in your brothers decision to come to UND!! Quote
Siouxdonyms Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 I believe that Zach and Jordan were on the team at the same time for a year. Yes they were, I remember watching Zach go after some guy after he took a run at Jordan. It was one of the few times Zach lost his cool! Great to have David on board! Quote
Vegas Posted July 13, 2007 Posted July 13, 2007 Did Ryan Duncan lead Shattuck in scoring? A Hobey Baker winner would look more impressive on that list than Ruegsegger.. I believe Ryan was the leading scorer the first year that Toews played at Shattuck. It was Ryan's Senior year and Toews' Freshman. Quote
