Over the weekend I talked to his former roommate and he confirmed that Spirko had left and is playing hockey over in Europe. I did not want this to be my first post, as Spirko was one of my favorite all time players. I have been attending Sioux hockey games since 1979. I frequently read this board and registered today. Sorry for the horrific news, but as many have stated before they thought this might be the case. Quote
