That locks up the Penrose, gets UND home ice for the entire NCHC playoffs, and goes a long way to getting us #1 seed in the NCAA's. Book it. Step 1. Done. Now let the boys enjoy senior night and clean up defensive responsibilities before traveling to WMU next weekend. Quote

SiouxScore Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Needed the win and got the win. Lot to clean up certainly but got the result. Quote

Popular Post Dustin Posted February 22 Popular Post Posted February 22 Unbelievable the saves Homer made in the clutch. But still uncomfortable with him in net. Špunar needs to bounce back for us to make any noise. 2 3 Quote

Popular Post brianvf Posted February 22 Popular Post Posted February 22 Best part about moving the NCHC tourney to home sites is that this isn't the end for the seniors at the Ralph. Still some games to go in front of the home crowd! 4 1 Quote
burd Posted February 22 Posted February 22 Hats off to Cloud. They came to play. Can we lease Gross for the playoffs—just on faceoffs? 3 Quote

And Burnevik & Gross are a tough line. Not as skilled as the Plante UMD line, but grittier. They'll be a tough out in the NCHC tourney if they play like this moving forward. 2 Quote

jk Posted February 22 Posted February 22 It's quite easy to see UND finishing third in the league, with DU likely harvesting six points from ASU and UND playing at WMU. I might not care quite so much if the playoff structure hadn't changed, but that would be a devastating result now, with home ice at stake. They just need to play better defensively. Tight checking wins big games. Quote
