For those who enjoy celebrity watching.... @brianvf will be at the Ralph this series.

Do you have any indication of whether he will be wearing his vintage signed Toews jersey, or is that too much info to pass along before he's back in the 701?

Getting to late February with a full roster, or even somewhat close (1) is a near-miracle given the intensity of NCHC competition.   Can't remember the last time we hit this time of year with a team this healthy.

(1)  close as in my lag putts

Go find some wood to knock on. 🙂

Happy Friday the 13th GameDay to all who superstis!

From my Weekend Preview:

UND has done well on Friday the 13th in recent memory, with a record of 7-2 in its past ten games scheduled on Jason Voorhees Day (the tenth scheduled game was to be the league playoff opener against Colorado College on Friday, March 13th, 2020; that game – and the remainder of the season – was cancelled due to COVID-19). One of those two spooky scary losses was a 6-3 home defeat at the hands of Miami on Friday, January 13th, 2017.

Thanks for that research! Two painful memories don't change the overall success.

Championship mentality.  The goal that UND gave up on Saturday night Dylan James was in the area of the shot from the point but if you asked him he probably would tell you he can't let that puck get to the net and do more for his team.  He more than made up for it getting the huge 3rd goal, but in tight hockey games in March and April that is the difference.

That one-timer by Max Plante was one of the wildest I've seen all year. He had no clue where it might go, and in fact was headed about 8' wide. That it hit his brother's leg and bounced in the back door is the epitome of puck luck. Dylan James had about as much blame for that goal as I did sitting in front of my TV.

Agree to disagree.  Not in the shooting lane where you'd love the weakside wing to be defensively.
