It would be no surprise to anyone. Also while we can say we performed better than many teams ahead of us, didn't win the games on the schedule. Any other normal SDSU team we would feel different too as then committee could say OT lost to a great team. But the talk league wide was SDSU is on 4 game losing streak. So won't get any of the close lost to a top team help. 

 

Also Chaves is MVFC rep and I believe he has to excuse himself when UND is discussed. So while still better than having the NDSU rep that would advocate against UND just bc, we won't have any supportive voice in the conversation. 

 

All 4 FCS teams we lost to will make the field and 1 or 2 teams we beat also will.

There is a part of my mind that keeps wondering why only JTJ was only option for any short yardage plays on 3rd or 4th down, and when he went down we just went to normal package that didn't seem to work. Also once he went down Jerry play dropped off considerably like he got comfortable that he wasn't going to lose his job.

So which playoff scenario do we see?   A 2014 Bubba where they take a MVFC team with one more loss than us, send us on the road to a team with a tent, or on the road to get over matched against a team like Weber?   I suppose today could be compared to Richmond, a loss at the very end.

UND is the best team that will be left out of the field with combined 17(?) pt in their 5 losses with all 4 of the FCS losses to ranked teams and 2 of them being top 5. 

Holy f&$? I am so sick and tired of the “we only lost by a little” BS !!  UND LOST!!!   The committee sees wins and loses!!  That’s FIVE loses !!!!  Und doesn’t deserve to be in the playoffs.  They can hang their hat on a Youngstown and to a certain degree the SIU win.  SIU won’t get in like und.  Only five from the valley move on  

Jerry has been one of the worst qbs in the FCS the last four weeks. 3 tds 8 INTs.  He locks in on one receiver and absolute throttles it in.   There is no reason that the majority of his passes need to be traveling 100 mph.  
 

Many here have bragged up the OL. Not me.  Think they average at best. They have have major trouble protecting Jerry and opeining lanes.  Todays game !!  The drive to end the half ….sdsu rushed only THREE!!  Three guys and they were at Jerry every time.  Three guys annihilated Unds OL.  Sawyer has made them look better in alot of games then what they’re really are.   I’m sorry but the OL has been fairly weak this year imo

I was initially thinking that losing this game to get to 7-5 did not deserve playoffs, even if we got selected. Now I think differently. That game tying drive game me hope that I didn’t have before. I hope we do get selected, and if we do, I feel there’s a good chance for victory.
