No different than the ridiculous prices they were asking for the Gopher hockey series.

No different than what Fargo or Brookings or any other college does for big name games.

If they don't do it, they end up on the secondary market for just as much or more.

I don't like it but it's the reality.

They were $55 at the Dome last year for seats around the 15-20 yard line.

I think most people can understand higher ticket prices for "Big Name Games", however $90 for the ends in the Alerus is unreasonable.  No way this game sells out with those prices, which is a shame.

You can get $90+ for a UND hockey game vs MN because the demand is much greater and the supply is about the same.

I hope next year they drop the prices at the end to about $40.  If they want to keep that other seats at $90 that's fine.

$90 for the ends/corners is asinine as those seats and viewing absolutely suck.

The bleachers

the funny thing is the original bleachers weren't even close either....move em back!!!!

plus i think it's a murder waiting to happen by putting all the wheelchair fans right in a row like ducks on the baseline....someone is gonna get hurt....almost as smart as the hotdog gun they used a few years ago...that dog wouldn't taken off a cottontops head like a hot knife thru butter.

Its upsetting to see that cost for tickets.  Family vacation or I would have considered going to the game, but that isn't a reasonable price for those tickets whatsoever.  I know nothing about the state of the cost of NDSU tickets, but can't imagine that would be the cost of UND vs. NDSU at the dome, or even an SDSU vs. NDSU game at the dome.

FCS attendance around the country isn't great to begin in, why wouldn't you want more butts in seats for a game like this?

I'll hang up and listen.

This year single game tickets at NDSU look like they are about $65/sideline and $55/end zone  other than. St. Thomas (reduced).

I'm guessing tickets for NDSU/UND or NDSU/SDSU in the dome would be a premium? I've always just went with my dad so not sure. I would guess the price is similar +/- $10-15.

Maybe the premium on this game is a bit steep (or isnt) but there is no reason UND should ignore the substantially higher demand. I think they probably priced it out pretty well by looking at the seat map.

EDIT: you do want the butts in seats. It's tough to do that these days at most schools. But 95% of the time, the issue isnt the price there. Its lack of interest.

There are roughly 200+ tickets left, if that?  I would say UND is making out quite nicely.

i think what the above are saying is ....too many cake eaters (less noise...more checking nvidia stocks prices on 3rd down) versus  a family of 5 screaming at the top of hteir lungs with hotdog pieces flying out of their mouths on 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd down....

profits over atmosphere.....

Well, unfortunately the powers that be have decided that everyone gets paid these days, one way or the other, so this is what we get.

With 3 days until game day and it isn't a sellout yet is a travesty.

Yep. There is real excitement for UND football this year with the new coaching staff, we have had a solid year this year considering that, and our biggest rival who is the #1 team in the nation is coming to the Alerus. End zone sections should be in the 50 to 65 dollar range for this game.
