I was among those - when he came aboard I thought wow - this is the final piece we needed - a great goalie coach to go with the rest of our talent and great credentials to boot - However, I was really disappointed in his failure to develop a good goalie pipeline - It seemed like it would be an easy sell - be a goalie on a regular contender and work with a specialized coach - however for some reason this never developed  - instead it was portal portal portal - In my opinion a failure on his part.

Very poor article.  Calls us river hawks all the way through.  Is he trolling or just dumb?  At the end he finally calls us fighting hawks.  Mentions Poolman, but nothing about Bauer Berry or Karl Goehring.  Also what does EJs skin color have to do with anything?

No, but they haven't played like that since the 2015-16 season. So, in reality, it's a return to the old-time UND Hockey. No passengers and guys working on their NIL deals for next year. Credit the ND ICE podcast.

I see where you’re coming from, but I’ll respectfully disagree. The 2019-2020 team was on a different level of intensity and skill as well. Guys like Colton Poolman and Cole Smith brought so much soul to that team that it bled through to the rest. It even carried into 2020-2021 as that team may have been even better in some ways.
