Big non-conference series this weekend...Fri at home and Sun at the Xcel.

UND looked good against Manitoba.  But hard to gauge too much in those exhibition games.

STU beat SCSU in their lone game this past weekend in a back and forth game.

Should be a good early season test.  Need to get off on the right foot in these OOC games, as it doesn't get any easier with series against UMN and at Clarkson coming up.

St. Thomas was reeling in the third period against SCSU.  Blew their three goal lead in the first 13 minutes of the third.  Then Warroad legend Damon Gardner took a head contact penalty that gave Rico's team new life late in the third period.  Up to that point SCSU was going to win that game.

St. Thomas played really well the first two periods.  I'm sure a talking point from them would be a .........#fullsixty.....:whistling:

St Thomas is the home team and will defend the side as the Wild. The note that pops up after you buy tickets about UND/Shoots twice on this side is actually backward. Not sure how TM screwed that up but I’m not terribly surprised

Hard not to refer to it as the “X”.   Do they have a new shortened version for Grand Casino?  Do they call it “the Grand” now?

if you said you were going to a game at "mile high" next weekend ...most adults would know what you meant....just call it the x...we're good

Maybe they just call it the “M”, as in the Roman numeral for a Grand.
