The more it's a normal path the better it is for UND as those top prospects are likely only going to UND or Denver. The rich get richer. 1 Quote

nodakgirl93 Posted yesterday at 01:21 AM Posted yesterday at 01:21 AM DuPont would probably be 1 year player in NCAA. I feel like Carels could play 2? If you have an open spot for a 1 year player then yeah sure. But I don't want to push another player out that could be a 2-4 year player. 1 Quote

DU would make sense with them losing Pohlkamp plus maybe Buckberger this offseason. That said, it sure would be nice to have a DuPont type guy to fly into the offensive zone on the PP similar to what Liv can do now. Verhoeff is a fine skater, but not sure he fits into that mold (yet at least). Strath has potential to make a jump on a PP unit too. Put DuPont up top on the PP and Verhoeff on the half-wall to blast his one-timer. Would be really fun to watch for a season. MacKenzie could be on PP2 on the half-wall too, as he's shown to have a blast of a one-timer as well. 1 Quote

If they are both most likely one year players and relatively similar talents (DuPont for sure) then give me the 18 year old over the 17 year old all day. I made the same argument in discussing potentially between Lin, Rudolph and DuPont as well. I wonder if we push harder for one of Lin or Rudolph if we feel we are out of the DuPont sweepstakes? 2 Quote

burd Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago So, 10 days and the boys’ season will be done. How long is it likely to be before the roster questions are pretty much cleared up? Quote

Juby and Andrew portal. Everyone else stays. 1 Quote

We need some of these guys to age up and stay in the lineup but both of them would be Top-4 guys at other places so I get it. Love getting the opportunity to have skilled younger guys but we all know how it goes with too young of a D corp. Quote

I’m no expert, but my uneducated opinion is that his chances are slim. The NHL doesn’t like sub-6 foot defensemen at all. Stretcher has made it work, but his physicality and compete were both a clear level above Livanavage’s. No hate to Jake. I think he’s a great player and would love to have him back. Just my amateur analysis and I’d love it if he proved me wrong Quote
