Realized me feed waa like two minutes behind so stopped following on here until game over. Yep as soon as Freuchte ran it twice straight up the middle for one yard, I knew it was like 90 percent chance Kstate win. F'ing ridiculous.

How does an OC that is good, F up so bad like that....seriously. In my opinion worse than the triple reverse. Geezes run Jerry on a run pass option....anything but right up the gut...twice!!

When you are on the road against an FBS team, you must play to win. That means doing what it takes to get a couple first downs to run out the clock. And if that means putting the ball in the air, you just freaking do it! 😡

What do you have to say for yourself?

So Mr. Negativity, who tells us that verbal commitments mean nothing, counts his chickens before they hatch on a win.  :silly:

Credit to the kids, they battled.  The third quarter was the difference.

Others have already said it.  Chance to win the game, attack mentality on offense.  The play before the 2 minute warning can't be a run up the gut, just can't

Great first game for Jerry.  Proud of the way he played.

Well, it did burn a whole second off the clock. Brilliant!  If they passed the ball it would have only burned off the same amount of time.

Sorry, but moral victories are getting old after 15+ years.

I just hope this doesn't deflate the team for Potato Bowl.

They basically took one of the top college football teams into OT when UND had a new coach, new Qb and we knew basically nothing about this team.

Cheer up Bro.

I don't understand the play calling on the offense and the defense.  They went into a shell on both sides of the ball.  Oh, well moving on I guess..

Offense:

Positives:  We have a QB that can make all the throws.  He looks good.

Neg:  O-line got handled and they had no push up the middle.

Don't now about the receivers, still a number of drops and limited separation.  Fr TE looked good.

Defense:

Hard to read the defense - still a work in progress.  No sacks, missed 4 or 5 opportunities to make plays.  Only a couple of miscommunications that I could see - resulting in TDs.

Overall, I didn't see a ton of mental errors: procedure, offside, motion, illegal formation type of stuff.  So, that we good.  The last two minutes of the games is on the coaches.

Honestly, shut the !@#$ up. Saying that was fun isn't a moral victory.

Agree with no moral victories anymore, and our own OC f'd up at the end. I guess 20 years from now the players just get to sit around talking about how close the game was.

Lots of positives though for sure, and I expect us to destroy Portland State. Then go upset Montana.

I just hope the coaches learn from the playcalling mistakes they made tonight.

Take your own advice son.

You sit here and act like you're a better fan than everybody, simply because all you care about is winning. It's getting old, son.

And you act like you own this place. Well, you don't. And you'll get no deference from me. Now go to bed.

I don't own this place. I'm proud of the boys and how they played tonight. You acting like that makes me less of a fan than you is idiotic.

Portland State stinks. The game won’t be close.

Some might say historical 100 year flood probability in UND football....

Get your tickets now!

I think I'm going to head up next Saturday and watch.  An effort like today deserves support.
