I had such high hopes for the Tupacs.  I think they showed growth this year over, but it sure seems like it's taking a long time.  I see we signed a couple of ND girls.  Not sure what to make of that, other than local engagement is always good.

So far has any of Chavez hires worked out?

one could argubschmidt but even him doesn’t have us in a lock for playoffs

any good assistants on the vb team? Asking for a friend

Can I interest you in a Mrs. Tupac?

What is the story with the coach at Concordia-St. Paul? He's been there forever, and has won at an absurd rate. Does he just not want to go anywhere else? By the way, their best player Makenna Nold, the league MVP as a sophomore, is from Jamestown and has family ties to UND. Might have been smart to offer her.

Time will tell, but Hockey, Football and Soccer seems to be moving in the right direction.  Way too early to tell with W. Basketball.  He inherited a mess.

Don’t know him personally but I’m guessing he’s had the opportunity to move up several times. With how successful they are and knowing the school, I’m guessing he makes as much or more than the UND volleyball head coach. I believe he also coaches at a very high level club. i would wager he’s very happy where he is.

She’s good, but 5’10” so the perfect size for that level, but probably not tall enough for D1… although one of our starting OH’s had to be around that height (see how that went for her this year)

Yes, she’s been at Concordia in Moorhead for awhile. Unfortunately, it’s not going great, at least in terms of wins and losses.

Concordia Moorhead is historically bad at volleyball and I’m guessing it’ll take a while for anyone to turn that program around. They are in a tough conference and the school/facilities/$ isn’t too enticing, IMO

Hardee still coaching?

Looks like he's at a high school in the south.  Really stinks that he made such a poor decision, as he was apparently a great VB coach.

Wonder if he’s sober? If so I think Armacost should give him a call as Chavez sits backs and rolls up his sleaves

If I remember he wanted to move back home and didnt care that he would be taking a step back.  Sometimes that is more important to some people.

Assuming there's a new coach next season, I just hope it's either an NSIC head coach, or a Big 10 assistant with ties to the upper midwest. There are enough good players within an eight hour drive of Grand Forks to field a competitive team year in and year out. I just don't think the coaches since Hardee have believed that, and we've seen the results. Minnesota is considered one of the top states for high school volleyball. The next coach needs to recruit there much, much better.

Pretty sure that was his replacement, Pryor.

I guess Chaves got tired of endless 3-0 and 3-1 losses.

Now he'll have to find someone to turn it around.

How many tries does Chavez get
