Agree, I can’t help but think, what if Covid didn’t happen and that team had a chance at a banner and also, what if Michigan didn’t get covid and UMD didn’t get a bye to the regional finals 1 Quote

They aren’t winning enough battles. They aren’t making simple, mature decisions. They’re committing far too many turnovers and, as Pandolfo often bemoans, they aren’t playing with an identity. Whatever you think of plus/minus as a helpful or misleading statistic, it’s hard to argue with the story it tells: Boisvert and Murtagh are -3, Bednarik is -4, Ritchie, Eiserman and McLaughlin are -5. Fondrk is -7 and Harvey is -11. When Pandolfo’s best forwards are out there, they’re getting boat raced. 1 Quote

Especially after all of the insinuations about what it meant that they were able to poach UND’s “best players”. 🤣 And to think, they went out and spent a bunch of money so they could turn their irresponsible play issues into much bigger (and more expensive) issues…while Jax turned around the locker room issues and gained the flexibility to reinvest into players like Verhoeff and Reschny. Gotta love it. 2 Quote

And for other you play ECHL and AHL if you are playing or signed for a year you can’t play NCAA. Quote

The only reasonable point the player could make is if he signed his ELC before college hockey opened up to the CHL. If a team is able to pick up a player like Tij Iginla, that would be crazy. What is also worth noting is that he pretty much stated that every team, including UND, could add players at the end of the semester. Roster caps seemingly mean nothing if you have players on the roster that were recruited prior to opting into the house settlement. Quote

I tell you, if the whole Sioux name fiasco was going on now, UND would have had no problem retaining the nickname because the NCAA would just fold as they have with everything in the last 3-4 years.
