Then he goes and posts the 0.6 game winner on his account. What a salty loser

He doesn't understand Hockey East has two big schools in BC and UConn and thinks that B1G and Hockey East will separate from everyone with NIL.

Hockey East fans are against BU lol

As they should be. IMO you never root for a rival even though they are in your own conference. Rival>Conference allegiance

Gotta agree with Gophin’ Around on this.

The thing you miss in this is, all of this success benefits UND. It makes us better throughout the season, it helps with recruiting for all NCHC teams, and it makes a huge difference in post-season success(7 of the last 9 titles). If conference success didn’t matter, we may as well be in the AHA right?

The thing is, Western Michigan isn't really a rival of UND's.  Yet.  Maybe that comes later.  I feel it's always right to cheer for a program to win their first.  I was happy for Duluth when they won their first couple, but after that I got sick of them.

Not only that, but a lot of it is who they are playing against.  BU, BC, Michigan, Minnesota, and other elite bigger schools are already getting most of the super elite players, and if they start winning championships it might get even harder to pull some of them away from the top schools.

The HEA & B10 may have more elite players overall, but the NCHC has the better coaches. Pandolfo & Co. got taken behind the woodshed tonight by Ferschweiler & Herter.

And if anyone's wondering what all that weird noise coming from Boston is, it's the sound of hundreds of thousands of NIL money being flushed down the toilet on Commonwealth Ave.

Schloss does his homework

if he ever goes somewhere else people 0n here will complain  then too

It's all the Herald.

The guy before brad was good too.

The guy after Brad will be just as good if not better.

Virg, Brad, and the next guy get paid a full time salary to just talk and research UND hockey....thanks to UND fans who pay for the Herald.

UND hockey fans can thank UND hockey fans for the great coverage.

I mean that is getting into Football US Bank stadium territory.

It would cost $200+ Million to build Engelstad Arena today.

And US Bank over $1.4 Billion

So I don't think $500 million is "US Bank stadium territory."

Congrats to WMU!!  Way to do the NCHC proud (Note: I would NOT be saying this about Denver). Thank you for knocking off Denver and BU on your way to the Natty.  Now let's get Herter to Grand Forks.

I like everything you said except the part about Herter going to Grand Forks. Let's keep him in Kalamazoo.

When I was out there, several Broncos fans expressed their displeasure to moving games off campus and away from Lawson arena. They are loud, crude, obnoxious and I say all of this in the most positive way. They rock the house there.

Yah, Lawson is kinda dumpy by today’s standards but man, what an amazing atmosphere! Reason I got out there this season was word they were building a fancy new barn and I just had to experience the Lunatics first hand and it lived up to my expectations 100%! My wife gave me a hall pass to get out there as Lawson has been on my short list of arenas I’ve been wanting to visit.

I was initially a very vocal critic of moving out of Lawson for the reasons you've talked about. I'm a bit skeptical that we can recreate that atmosphere in a new building. We've seen it with new arenas in college hockey. It's just not the same as the old barns.

Maybe, Fersch is selling me on something that isn't reality, but he's talked about how he wants to keep the good parts of Lawson: low ceiling & not going overboard with capacity. They've been flying to all the college arenas in the donor's private jet trying to capture the best things. I'm now pretty excited. And let's be honest, after what just happened on the ice, I'll run through a wall for Fersch. So, new arena it is!!

I root for the conference...but not for Denver.  When the Sioux were in the WCHA I rooted for the conference...but not for Minnesota.  It's a little wonky, but I think most diehards understand.;)

Yeah, I get it. I don't have any of that baggage with the old WCHA teams. Our only historical rival in the conference is Miami and they SUUUUCK.

Miami?  Sure, I can get on board with that.

UConn is not a big school by many definitions.

Its a small state school that has a great basketball team for whatever reason

Thanks guys! Still can't believe it is true. Felt like a home game last night, I knew once I felt the energy in there we weren't going to let BU beat us.

You deserve to feel proud.   Just keep in mind that when the puck drops this fall, you're trash.
