The atmosphere in Seattle is insane.

Love to see it. I was hoping he’d add a 6th game to his record but I’m happy with 5.

I recently bought tickets for the Iran - Egypt game for $295 each. We’ll be midfield upper deck, 7th row.

They couldn’t have asked for a better start. Balogun’s second goal and Reyna’s Trivela were gorgeous. Expectations skyrocketed last night.

They seem to be dropping a little bit. Looks like we’ll be able to get in for under $300/ticket.

Anyone else going to a game this summer? We’ll be in Seattle at the end of June and are planning to attend the Egypt vs Iran match.

This is great news for Devils Lake, Dickinson, Jamestown and Williston (and all of the new programs eventually). Now they all have at least a hot goalie's chance of making the state tournament. I went through all of the seasons listed on the highschoolhockeynd.com website to see how those four teams finished since the 2007-2008 season and they were basically in a season long play-in tourney, usually for the #7 or #8 seed. In the four seasons since Bismarck split to create 12 teams in the league, only one of those teams qualified - #7 Devils Lake in 23-24. The last time two of those teams qualified for the same state tournament was during the 2012-2013 season. 25-26: None 24-25: None 23-24: #7 Devils Lake 22-23: None 21-22: #7 Jamestown 20-21: #8 Jamestown 19-20: #4 Devils Lake 18-19: #8 Devils Lake 17-18: #7 Dickinson 16-17: #8 Williston 15-16: #8 Williston 14-15: #8 Dickinson 13-14: #5 Williston 12-13: #3 Jamestown, #8 Williston 11-12: #7 Jamestown, #8 Williston 10-11: #6 Jamestown, #8 Williston 09-10: #7 Jamestown, #8 Williston 08-09: #7 Williston, #8 Dickinson 07-08: #7 Hazen/Beulah, #8 Williston

I assumed he’d have the record for most saves in a state tourney after that performance but he doesn’t. He does have a few others that will likely never be broken.

WFU hiring a new coach paid off. They went from losing in the first round as a #1 seed to making the championship game as a #7 seed and winning it as a #5.

I think he would’ve easily broken the record if GFC didn’t have to kill that 5 minute penalty towards the end of the 3rd.

I feel bad for N/S’s goalie.

Gritty win for the Davies girls. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a puck cross the goal line any slower than it did on their game tying goal. The Davies goalie gave her team the chance to steal that one.

The Jamestown girls missed the State Tournament by one point after losing to Grand Forks in OT and the WDA named them the team of the week for nearly qualifying. Ouch.

It was a great night for JHS athletics. The girls basketball team snapped a 28 game losing streak against Century with a 59-56 win. Century beat them 90-28 earlier in the season.
