I don’t believe they would announce NIL involvement and would probably have contracts separate from our current NIL initiative if they are even going to support NIL.  Just my opinion, but based on their history, I don’t believe they will donate significant dollars that someone else would manage.

Fair. If you're hesitant, because there should really only be three people with true inner workings of this decision and how could they be so careless? You can be bold and careless if nobody will ask questions. Honestly, I'm 90% in the boat that this entire process has been a sham, which it would be if @RhettRingers is correct that it's been over for days. 5% that he's doubling down on an educated guess and the final 5% is it makes so little sense that it can't be true. It won't be Jackson.

I also don't believe in coincidences. If Jackson ends up with it and by all indications, he's been #1 the entire time. Questions need to be asked.

It's been in the makings for months, they had to go through the process since its a university position. I won't be posting anymore. Thanks @MGsioux for setting me straight. I should have not said anything. We are all just loyal, passionate fans. The best in the world. There isn't a message board out there that compares to this. Signing off for now.

Question, 10 years ago or whatever when Hak moved on to Philly, how would the fan base had felt if Dane was named head coach then? Obviously, time changes opinions and the fact he never changed roles doesn’t help his case but just a question. 

I am also curious how Berry kept Dane on staff all this time if their relationship was as severed as some make it sound.

knowing the people involved with the Englestad foundation, if they are doing something to coincide with the coaching decision, it was in-flight for a very long time, will be highly strategic, and will keep control over the capital to ensure it is operating as they intend.

He indicated that Raboin has no interest in the job - which I have confirmed through friends of his.

He then said it’d be Dane.

I actually thought Dane was going to get the job when Hak left. I was under the impression that he did not want the head coaching job at that time.

Some would rather live in whatever make believe land Schlossman is going to write about. Now we're getting to a place where the pieces are starting to make sense. Theory, essentially, Jackson stabs Berry in the back. VERY interesting that Jacksons name was not mentioned at all in the letter he wrote. If Jackson noticed things were in bad shape last year under Berry, good on him to sound the alarm. Someone needed to. ***Just working on some theories***

Berry said something to the extent of "too many to name, but you know who you are" about the many coaches. Naming one or two but not all would be perceived as a slight as well.

Just connecting dots based on the information @RhettRingers has stated. If this has been in motion for months and Berry was blindsided, someone had to sound the alarm of the disfunction that was going on internally.

I have also been told a lot but have not said anything just because it could affect the jobs of others. Still hoping Rhett could be wrong and Raboin does have interest.
