I have legit sources not like @gfhockey and his buddies at Judy's. If you are truly that close to knowing these decisions then here is hoping you are not a doctor or lawyer or a person who needs to know confidential information. Because your massive ego can't stop your mouth/fingers from actually keeping something confidential. Congrats to your big ego but shame on you for not being a person who can be trusted. 4 5 Quote

The lollipop to mask the disappointing trip to the doctor’s office… I don’t believe they would announce NIL involvement and would probably have contracts separate from our current NIL initiative if they are even going to support NIL. Just my opinion, but based on their history, I don’t believe they will donate significant dollars that someone else would manage. Quote

I have no reason to suspect a smoke and mirrors show as distraction to hire Jackson. Fair. If you're hesitant, because there should really only be three people with true inner workings of this decision and how could they be so careless? You can be bold and careless if nobody will ask questions. Honestly, I'm 90% in the boat that this entire process has been a sham, which it would be if @RhettRingers is correct that it's been over for days. 5% that he's doubling down on an educated guess and the final 5% is it makes so little sense that it can't be true. It won't be Jackson. I also don't believe in coincidences. If Jackson ends up with it and by all indications, he's been #1 the entire time. Questions need to be asked. Quote

sioux24/7 Posted Friday at 03:43 PM Posted Friday at 03:43 PM Question, 10 years ago or whatever when Hak moved on to Philly, how would the fan base had felt if Dane was named head coach then? Obviously, time changes opinions and the fact he never changed roles doesn’t help his case but just a question. I am also curious how Berry kept Dane on staff all this time if their relationship was as severed as some make it sound. Quote

Was not even recruited until he committed to Minnesota. Sioux fan growing up. Pretty poor foresight* as it cost UND G Potulny, R Potulny and D Irmen. Similarly, Michigan St locking up the oldest Cullen was masterclass as it likely means they get the family (with the younger ones being even better and that's no knock on Brooks who is a really solid hockey player). Nope he was told he wasn’t good enough to play D1 hockey at North Dakota. 1 Quote

yzerman19 Posted Friday at 03:45 PM Posted Friday at 03:45 PM knowing the people involved with the Englestad foundation, if they are doing something to coincide with the coaching decision, it was in-flight for a very long time, will be highly strategic, and will keep control over the capital to ensure it is operating as they intend. 1 Quote

Now we're getting to a place where the pieces are starting to make sense. Theory, essentially, Jackson stabs Berry in the back. VERY interesting that Jacksons name was not mentioned at all in the letter he wrote. If Jackson noticed things were in bad shape last year under Berry, good on him to sound the alarm. Someone needed to. ***Just working on some theories*** 1 Quote

Naming one or two but not all would be perceived as a slight as well. Quote
