The fact that we have to play on the road at Omaha for the second time in 3 years, and the 3rd time on the road in 7 years explains the state of the program.  Think about it, home ice every other year, when it was a given before.  Berry is basically stealing money from UND with his salary and the lack of playoff revenue.

All I have to say from the (Senior Year Student) POV: I think Brad might actually be up there with the maroon fools in terms of hate. I crunched the numbers and iirc a Berry buyout is about $600k. With a student population of 15k, if every student chipped in about $40 (the average bar tab downtown + trip to Chick Fil A) it would be a booster/university free involvement in the buyout.

The day I turned 21 was right when we were on a hot streak in 23-24, I bought a bottle of the Belfour UND Special Edition whiskey which I promised myself wasn't to be touched until banner #9 was won. Yeah not a stellar feeling.

Years ago I was told directly that it was minimal $300,000 for the weekend.  I've got to imagine that number has increased.
