Just enough of a tease to get you to think the turnaround will happen… UND in 3 to get the fans excited about the trip to the X…only to see them give up 4 in the first period in the semifinal en route to a 6 or 7 to 1 season-ending loss. That’s pretty much all you need to know about the state of the program. Pathetic and unacceptable. The fact that we have to play on the road at Omaha for the second time in 3 years, and the 3rd time on the road in 7 years explains the state of the program. Think about it, home ice every other year, when it was a given before. Berry is basically stealing money from UND with his salary and the lack of playoff revenue. 4 Quote
Occasional_NorthDakota_Fa Posted March 9 Posted March 9 All I have to say from the (Senior Year Student) POV: I think Brad might actually be up there with the maroon fools in terms of hate. I crunched the numbers and iirc a Berry buyout is about $600k. With a student population of 15k, if every student chipped in about $40 (the average bar tab downtown + trip to Chick Fil A) it would be a booster/university free involvement in the buyout. The day I turned 21 was right when we were on a hot streak in 23-24, I bought a bottle of the Belfour UND Special Edition whiskey which I promised myself wasn't to be touched until banner #9 was won. Yeah not a stellar feeling. Quote

All Bubbs had to say was "We are going to play with passion and conviction." Don't sell those Fargo region tickets just yet folks! Go to not gonna happen.com 1 Quote

Well and who thought people would figure out the whole Nodak thing? People are supposed to spend their spare time watching Jackson Kunz goal highlights from January and February..... Quote

Frozen4sioux Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Does anybody know ballpark or more precise just what the bottom-line number is for UND if hosting a 2-game playoff? Quote
The Sicatoka Posted March 10 Posted March 10 I though revenue from first round series went to the league. Quote

Sweethockey Posted March 10 Posted March 10 You can stop at Hugo’s and pick up a towel to wipe away the tears after this coming weekend. For some reason they have 1000’s of them to give away. 1 3 Quote

TwamleyShuffle Posted March 10 Posted March 10 If I were a captain for the team, I’d take my teammates to Hugo’s to have the visual of those towels as motivation 1 Quote
