Just imagine you're on the UND team & your senior assistant captain said that. The exact opposite of a warrior mentality. It's no wonder the team is the way it is. It's your job as a leader, Jackson,  to be a strong, positive influence on your teammates so they can succeed, not act like a pouty little kid when things don't go your way. And it's your job, coach, to nip this attitude in the bud before it spreads throughout the locker room.

What’s so disappointing is Berry had a real chance to change the direction by sitting Kunz that Saturday night. Win or lose that sends a message. I cannot wait until Berry & this coaching staff is gone.

Huskies now with one win in their last nine games.

UND's last full three point win came over a month ago against SCSU.

As mentioned in another thread, the loser of Friday's game will have gone the entire month of January without a regulation win.  Or they could go to OT, and then both teams could accomplish the feat.

Monty plays his heart out for UND, but I’m sorry to say this is a good thing for the team. If him having an injury is what it takes to get a well-deserving Croal back into the lineup, then so be it. A guy with his edge, speed, and tenacity is a spark this team needs. Oh and don’t forget how badly we need him on the PK

Especially this weekend.  We always have issues with the SCSU PP on the big sheet, and I'm guessing that will be even more amplified this weekend with how horrid our PK has been this year.

Yes.  I appreciate how hard Dane has worked to get back from injuries, but in today's portal world I think he should look for a place he can get on the ice more when healthy next season, ala Dan Senkbeil.  Give some of the young guys the opportunity to play more for the future like Croal..

Hopefully the refs don't drop the puck slightly favoring the UND players this weekend.
Also, hopefully the stat keepers in St Cloud remember to count the correct number of shots for each team.
We certainly don't want SCSU ass. coach Enga to get his panties in a twist again.
