In this day and age, the official announcement from the player depends on how long the commitment graphic takes. Usually a day or two delay from when the coaching staff tweets about it.

Here's the lag time between when Schmidt has posted vs player posting. It definitely varies. I wouldn't think anything of the delay normally, still don't, but given the impact of this one, I do understand being more impatient than you normally would. I would still think we'd hear something today.

• Goihl: Less than an hour
• Woods: Day
• Stein: Few hours
• Rohl: 3 Days

No seriously...I'm just speaking generally and generically about the program's trajectory and expectations overall moving forward.

He was hired 4 months ago. And all signs are pointing towards him getting the most important recruit from ndsu's backyard within that timeframe.

I don't know about everyone else, but I'm impressed so far.

Also excited to see what everything looks like in 2 years after some time to get everything going.
