One thing I find puzzling is the way offensive players seem to be in the plan one week and then ghosted. I realize Xavier is a fifth year guy but he came in with some strong credentials and seemed productive early on. Did I miss him getting hurt or is it the youth movement? There are others also.

Sounds like younger guys Brunell and Langama have finally caught up to X at practice and have been much better practice players and showing more. So sounds like X started hot and now guys have passed him, so he’s bottom of the chart.

I’m assuming you heard this on the Tank and Kelly podcast interview with Ike, because I heard the exact same thing.

Got it another example of the MVFC having a higher level of talent I guess.

My take on him was he'd try to bounce a lot of stuff outside and couldn't shake the guy on the edge so not much success.  I think he did well catching the ball.

agreed...a little screen pass with the d line behind him instead of just check down passes would've bee nice...

but yeah...pitter pattered in the hole and sometimes tried to go wide and nothing happened(s)

I made the comment at a game that he couldn't get the corner and about 2 plays later he went around the end for a long one.
