SiouxScore Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Terrible loss. Gave the game away, not sharp offensively at all but they kinda get what they deserve for not trying to fix the OL at all and thinking Ingram was "fine". Maybe Cousins and the O coulda used a little work in the preseason as well. Defensively I thought they looked much better but couldn't finish on enough plays and then not having one more vet CB definitely hurt today. Felt like a must win game today with @ Philly and then the Chargers up next. Chiefs and Niners also in the first half of the schedule and it could get pretty rough. Quote
sioux rube Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 Maybe have your starters play at least a half in preseason. They looked out of sinc. With that O line it’s gonna be one long year Quote

rochsioux Posted September 10, 2023 Posted September 10, 2023 This season could be over in a hurry. Looking at their schedule it is not too difficult to see a 1-4 start. If that happens then it’s fire sale time, tank the season, start a real rebuild and hopefully draft a top end long term QB. While you’re at it build a physical offensive line that can actually get a push when you need to convert 3rd or 4th and one. Most likely scenario is they’ll win a game you don’t expect and hang around for a possible playoff berth with no realistic chance of doing any damage if they make the playoffs. End up with a first round pick just low enough that you can’t find a franchise QB. Rinse and repeat for the next decade plus. 1 Quote

Wilbur Posted September 10, 2023 Author Posted September 10, 2023 Three turnovers and lining up offside to give them a TD instead of three. Only two balls to Jefferson the second half? I will say that the defense was better to watch. I can never live through another season of the Donashell. 1 Quote

The Sicatoka Posted September 11, 2023 Posted September 11, 2023 Heard some stat that yesterday was the first GB season opener since 1993 that the starting QB wasn't named Favre or Rodgers. Quote

Won't be able to run the ball at all so throw the "establish the run" BS out the window. Offense will probably need to score 30 to win the game, so probably can't afford to punt much. Quote

Wilbur Posted September 15, 2023 Author Posted September 15, 2023 7 quarters in they've turned the ball over 7 times. I knew the football gods would be pissed about last year. Quote
DL Sioux Posted September 15, 2023 Posted September 15, 2023 I can deal with another team beating us, but so frustrating when we beat ourselves!! Quote
Wilbur Posted September 15, 2023 Author Posted September 15, 2023 As thin as the Vikings line is they can't afford any injuries. Man..... Quote
