One huge difference between both these teams and UND is that they don’t hold on to the puck long before passing.   In addition the their superior speed, that’s how they create space for the player receiving the puck.   Our D, in particular, hold the puck while open spaces close up.  And that was not unique to this years’ Dmen.

I'd expect Snuggerud back, but would be shocked if Cooley returns.

Thought Cooley would be gone for sure.

That’s such a huge part of creating good scoring opportunities.
