Cops are bad, whitey is bad, so yes I think you hit the nail on the head with the painting with broad strokes comments. Wait? Is this your position, or mine? If it is your position, this is a free country and you are allowed believe whatever you want to believe. That is the great thing about America! If you are saying it is my position, it has missed the mark completely.
Oxbow6 Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 Cops are being targeted now. If anyone doesn't see the lawlessness of that and how that undermines the fabric of a civil society MafiaMan has a one way ticket to the communist country of your choice. 2

All of these jumps to conclusions are so beautiful! Could it be possible that the Reverend hates all of those things, and also doesn't want their church being used as a political photo opportunity? That is an option you know. 2

It could also be that the media distracts the weak minded into thinking Trump is the real problem here.

And usually I have more than just one Cheeto.

But the focus of the main stream media is on Trump at a church, or now accusing him of being a dictator because he mentions the military helping because liberal cities and governors will not attempt to control the rioting. And protect their own citizens

That doesn't seem like a very good strategy to stopping the "riots and looting" or for anything at all to be honest. Just stopping by to let you know that they didn't use tear gas. Smoke cannisters instead. 1

You see Oxbow is attacking for you for posting on this website since you're a lazy, no good Cheeto eating liberal. Nevermind that he and a few of his camp followers (MafiaMan) are seemingly on here 24/7. They are true keyboard warriors fighting the good fight against evil liberals while also holding down highly important positions that afford them the luxury of posting hundreds of posts on a website daily. 3

I agree that Trump doesn't exactly exude biblical qualities, but what does it tell you that many people of faith still begrudgingly support him? Hey, if there was another choice of someone that could unify that still held to the constitution and religious freedoms, I am sure many would jump on board. Many consider him the lesser of two evils. It seems many with a liberal slant think that churches are so far from essential that they could stay closed until the second coming. 1

It tells me that many people of faith that support him are not at all sincere in the moral values that their pretending to espouse and thus any criticisms they have regarding the morality of others no longer to deserve to be taken seriously. 4

That was a poorly planned and executed photo-op, and nothing else. You seriously think Trump is a spiritual human being? So what Christian values does Trump espouse? Narcissism, greed, pathological lying, anger, fraud, pettiness (should I go on)? Are these the teachings of Jesus? Banging porn stars behind your wifes back, then trying to pay them off to be quiet, is that what the church is promoting these days? And if Trump was a Dem I would be just as disgusted, so don't call me a liberal fag. But go ahead all you people who think poor Donny is treated soooo unfairly, drink that kool-aid. I'm sure you find it delicious. hate speech violation....30 days in jail for you sir. please report to your police station immediately.

Maybe they don’t mind the taste of the boot as long as it’s on someone else’s neck. Yeah and that they are racist too. And don’t tell me they aren’t. I’m from southwestern ND. I sat around the dinner tables and in the bars. I am from there so no one guarded themselves. I am them. But I’m not anymore. That ended when I watched the full video of George Floyd being killed. And again when I’ve seen the reaction So you might convince someone else that it’s not the racism. But.not .me

802Sioux Posted June 2, 2020 Posted June 2, 2020 I keep looking in the background of civil rights photos at the white people screaming in the background. I keep thinking those people just went home to supper and thought they were perfectly justified. And I grew up surrounded by them

But.not .me Most people I have talked to are disgusted by what happened to George Floyd. The question is why does it happen? Because people hate. The problem is you can't cure that as you can see by the hatred of the police as well. I want to know why those officers were even on the Police force after what they had done before. It is a failure in leadership by those that should have fired those individuals long ago, especially with the history of the Minneapolis police department. 1
