Maybe you're the one with deep insecurities. You're aware that 62+ million people voted for President Trump. A fair number of them voted for Obama the election before. Check out the graph below, Trump received 29 percent of the Hispanic vote. Finally, this is what you're beating your chest about a story From June 27, 2006. I don't think one realistically can. The sickening fact is that there are too many people who believe and act out on his rhetoric. I stand by what I wrote. Rush will not be missed.

The same goes for Rand Paul, Bernie Sanders, and Ted Cruz. I'd take someone like Trump any day, and although he lies, he doesn't lie to his constituents about what really matters: the goals that he wants to accomplish. I'd take a person like Trump or any of the above over a flip-flopper like Biden, Romney, Hillary, Rubio, Biden, Warren, etc, any day of the week, because at least they try to follow through on their campaign promises. Trump may lie to change talking points or to distract the media, but he never lies to disguise what he is actually trying to accomplish. A good example of this would be when he spoke highly of Kim Jung Un, in an effort to make a peace deal. Or when he has violent rhetoric towards that same man, or Iran, but if you look at what he actually DOES, vs what he says, he always does his best to act in a way that forwards the promises that he made to his constituents. Despite his war rhetoric, the amount of activity the US military has seen overseas, policing the world, has gone way down, there aren't any new conflicts, and it is in complete contrast to the last few presidents. Look at Biden's voting history compared to what he apparently stands for now - that man is the real definition of a phony liar. Trump registered as a Republican in Manhattan in 1987 and since that time has changed his party affiliation five times. In 1999, Trump changed his party affiliation to the Independence Party of New York. In August 2001, Trump changed his party affiliation to Democratic. In September 2009, Trump changed his party affiliation back to the Republican Party. In December 2011, Trump changed to "no party affiliation" (independent). In April 2012, Trump again returned to the Republican Party.[4] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_positions_of_Donald_Trump 1

Obviously tons of other factors have brought us to this point and both parties are at fault; but the starting point was Rush. Previous to him I can’t think of any political figure or pundit on the news, radio, or TV who thoroughly demonized the opposing party on a daily basis. Sure politics has always been filthy but at least some mutual respect and common ground existed between everybody. Even in the tumultuous 60's this was the case. Limbaugh was something new. He was uncompromising, accusatory and full of vitriol 24/7. People loved it. Popularity soared. Unfortunately Limbaugh’s act has proven to be a disaster for national unification. 1

President Trump on Monday further cast doubt on the U.S. election process, claiming falsely that the only way he would lose in November is if the election is "rigged." Trump made the remark at the end of a speech to supporters in Oshkosh, Wis., Monday afternoon as he implored them to vote. It follows months of Trump claiming without evidence that widespread mail-in voting during the coronavirus pandemic would invite fraud into the election. Planting the seed for post election day false accusations. 2

This is pretty peaceful. ☮️ From Left-Leaning Mediate Portland Protesters Caught on Video Beating Man Unconscious Following Truck Crash Quote Protests in Portland turned violent on Sunday night when demonstrators beat up a man after he crashed his truck in the downtown area. Reports and footage from the incident shows that at approximately 10:30 P.M. local time, authorities received word that a white man crashed at a sidewalk close to a Black Lives Matter rally. Sgt. Kevin Allen told Washington Post that the crash happened because, according to the police report, “protesters were chasing the truck before it crashed, and they assaulted the driver after the crash.” Video from the encounter shows that the driver was forced to the ground by protesters nearby, who continued to physically and verbally accost him. This continued until one of the protesters ran up to the man’s side from behind and kicked him in the face. The man was eventually attended to by a medic and hospitalized afterwards.

There was a little different reaction too by the media over that one person that was acting out, I wonder why. Using the Charlie Kirk "I wonder why" as part of an argument is not a good way to be taken seriously. I'm not offended if you address the fact that it is black-on-white crime that has so many people riled up. Just be forward with it in a coherent manner. The big difference between the two is one has a lone wolf acting out with others trying to prevent his actions, while the other has accomplices aiding and abetting his actions. Both belong in jail regardless of context. But when Floyd first came into the news, my first thought was what did he do to get arrested; had he shot at a cop (or civilian) it would have been much more justified. 1
