Man what is up with St. Cloud? They throttled Mankato then lost to the Gophers...

I heard that the lively pro-Gopher rowd of 427 rattled the Huskies.  Disappointing.

Very good night for NCHC, and also UND's strength of schedule:

Denver 4-2 over U Mass

Western Michigan goes into Notre Dame and gets a tie.

"Lowly" Omaha goes to Maine and gets a tie.

Oh, even Canisius got a result - a t tie at RIT.  MSU and Bemidji both won, not surprisingly.

Jim Montgomery checked into alcohol rehab this week.

No reason for me to doubt any of this, but for some reason my doubting senses perked up, wonder if there is a real story.

Felt bad for Western, both commentators (and I, FWIW) thought their OT goal should’ve counted but the stripes waived it off. Not pushing a conspiracy, but golden domers on nat’l tv and B10 refs no less, I felt like if there was any chance to waive it, they would...and they did. Hope there was something else to it. WMU healthy finally but Allison clearly needing to work his way back, they still dominated most of the game but couldn’t finish - deserved better, too bad they don’t get another chance until Sunday.

His personal statement that he released talked about rehab as well.  Part of me wonders if that wasn't part of him leaving DU as well (trying out a new environment to help break the cycle)
