There’s a money round up going on too to get the coaches salaries bumped up but I don’t have enough visibility into that 

the football alumni have had it and they know now is the time to strike

NDSU and SDSU didn’t have impressive crowds either. You would assume that hosting a playoff game though would be a big deal for USD

Maybe this division isn’t even that great of a thing.  Like a Pioneer football coach could just put together a good season or two and just jump to the MAC

I don’t think so.  Soon after he retired I talked to him at a signing he was doing. He was adamant he would never get into coaching.  I’ve not heard of him coaching anywhere

Woodley won NAIA quarterfinal.  Johansen won FCS 2nd round.  Bolte lost D2 quarterfinal (to Hoffner, who gets mentioned occasionally), Freund won FCS 2nd round, Schleusner has yet to coach today, Caruso and Schmidt did not coach today.  Who am I missing?
