SWSiouxMN
First off: Rebounding was god awful all night, they need to work on rebounding out of that small lineup Other than that... UND overcame those poor rebounding numbers by forcing a lot of turnovers and making the Bison pay for them. They also went 12-23 from downtown. Jones hit some big 3's early and knocked down a couple in the 2nd half, Geno hit some big shots in the 2nd half, Tray played big minutes in the 1st half when Geno was sitting, Avants was huge in the 2nd half. Stewart was steady-eddy all night long. Back to conference play with a trip to Greely. Lets make it 4 in a row.

Oxbow6
Was at game. Good road win vs. instate rival. Hit some 3s early.....bumped up lead to 16 in 2nd half and then UND...Geno specifically started to "ball". UND is far away the more talented team but when they get undisciplined at both ends it becomes a mess. Agree rebounding not this team's strength but the can lock it down defensively in stretches.

Oxbow6
One thing is for sure.......BJ garners very little respect from his players. They were chirping at him as much as as they were at the officials.

I don't expect them to truly outrebound teams, but I expect them to keep the margins respectable. NDSU nearly had as many O-Boards than UND had D-Boards. UND can't have that going forward. They were able to overcome it.
UND-FB-FAN
Good win Like it with Kennedy and Chaves in house.
geaux_sioux
If shooting the three ball like last night becomes more of a theme than an anomaly this team might actually still win some games. Rebounding needs a lot of work though. Boxing out is the easiest thing to do in basketball.
hoops44
Rebounding will always be a problem for this team avants maybe 6’6” jones does not block out ...small and or skinny team...they need to shoot well, protect the ball, create turnovers...rebounding well is not a part of their make up
darell1976
Only 2 losses in the last 2 seasons when scoring over 80. Make it a habit of reaching that bar.
jdub27
Not that rebounding doesn't need some work, because it most definitely does, but when the opposing team misses 19 3-pointers, there is going to be plenty of long rebounds that you're going to give up whether you are in position or not. 7 out of NDSU's 13 offensive boards came off 3 point attempts and another was off a blocked shot. Good win to avenge the earlier loss. Team is playing much better. It's almost like it took a while to mesh and find a solid rotation. Shocking when you're replacing 5 out of your top 8 from last year.

Still struggle down low but ball pressure up front has been really good.

Keeping the margins respectable will be enough with this team.

ibleedgreen
Was that horrible night from Seales a fluke? Or what was going on with him. I'm questioning if he should have even made the trip south for the game....

He had 4 steals on the defensive end so it wasn't all bad.
