Wilbur
Berry post game: Took him a long time for him to get to the booth. -Had no answer for their goalie, that's no excuse, we have to win the game. -We had great opportunities, no net front. -Message to players. Can't be frustrated. -Some individuals need to be better. -Have to find ways to win. -Played pretty good for the 120 minutes. -Zero point weekend for Boeser -Proud of Wilkie. Working hard, needs to stay with it. -What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Was not a step back at all in performance. -Hats off to CC. That's a wrap.

OgieOgilthorpe
Apparently UND just isn't that good this year. It's the only explanation

Hakstol had many loaded teams that never closed the deal. Those are facts. Of course, neither of those facts are relevant to our current team and season. Godsmack
Hey, the good news is, we're better off in the PWR than we were going into the weekend. 9th now vs. 12th yesterday.

But as long as we get in, we have a chance.

Played without our best forward, our record holding goalie, and the four year guy with the C on his sweater.

You probably think Hakstol would have had us in 1st place this year. News Flash: This team lost 9 key players off of last year's team. That is hard to replace. If we miss the tournament this year, it will be for the first time since 2002. The streak wasn't going to last forever. Now, don't you have a Flyers game to follow? My god you are something...Hak had a team in the FF without a full roster! Give credit where credit is due! Read Schloss write ups after the Natty, the first guy Berry called was Hak. If this streak would have ended in the Hak days, you'd be the first pulling your panties out of the bunch they would be in.... "They just need one, gates will open, Sioux are dominating just need to bury one", after loss, "this team is terrible, this season sucks, they can't put it together"! This website is unreal... 2

I also said that we lost a lot of talent off of last year's team. How are those two points contradictory? I think they go together like peanut butter and jelly. Maybe next you can tell us how Notre Dame MBB is a perennial national power? In about 5 years, we'll look back and appreciate last year's team even more than we did last March - and realize what a gifted group that that team was. Oh, and Notre Dame is ranked #14 in MBB... rochsioux
UND has won 9 of the past 22 games. Let that sink in for a minute. There is no way to spin that, they are not a very good team right now. The effort is sporadic and some of the skill players are invisible. When you add in all the defensive mistakes this team makes you can see why they cannot win consistently. They probably need to win 6 of the last 8 games, hard to see how they are going to do this given that they only won 9 of 22. Where is the team that played Union ? Playing without Jost and Boeser they were fast, aggressive, and took the body. Wish they could find the team that showed up that night.
