BigGreyAnt41 Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I knew we'd be alright with Schamltz and Caggs out. Sanderson got the monkey off his back last week so we're fine! Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Okay boys, now NO letting off the gas. Quote
bcblues Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Is CC really that bad? I knew they have been snake bit this year, but this is ridiculous. Quote
johndahl Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 I wonder if they don't have a little extra gas in the tank tonight after a locker room speech about stepping up for those who are out injured. Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 We have had some pretty goals tonight. Quote
Goon Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 How about Luke Johnson. Three goals in the last two games and 3-1-4 in the last two games. Quote

bcblues Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 4-1 Sioux after one. Honestly, this is about the scoring output I expected from the entire series. Done in one period. Quote
Fetch Posted January 23, 2016 Posted January 23, 2016 Damn Impressive Way to go Now a few more need to get out of their non scoring streaks Quote

They just willed a battered roster to the national title game. They had a couple NHL regulars at forward in Zajac and Stafford, and a folk hero in Spirko, but they were pretty thin after that, and then really shorthanded due to injury. I only listed five defensemen above because that was the rotation after Bina went down in the Final Five. They obviously played a different game than this group, not as much fun to watch if you like offense, but more fun if you're a bit of a sadist. Pretty hard to argue against that group. Jones was one of my favorite pure defensemen we've had. Quote
