The Sicatoka Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Game 2 of this pre-holiday weekend neutral site tournament. This one is against Bye. Another 7 pm Central start. If we show up the same as last night against Off, expect the same outcome. Still no Stecher or St. Clair. Not sure if there'll be line-up changes after the (lack of) performance last night. Quote
SWSiouxMN Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Heard Bye is a bunch of divers. Flopped all over the ice last night. Quote
Siouxman Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Hoping team is better prepared tonight. I can't recall seeing a single pass being completed last night. Quote
Hayduke Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I say pull the goalie all game and go with the extra attacker. I don't see this Bye school slipping the puck by an empty net - that's how horrible they are... Quote
jodcon Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 I notice Bye hasn't won a game since they started the program, it'll be torches and pitchforks if we don't win this one. Quote
Siouxman Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 What are viewing options for tonight? I hear that NCHC.tv was mostly blank during last nights game. Quote

90siouxfan Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Blais would play with the lights off. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Have we heard if there were any injuries carrying over from last night? Quote
The Sicatoka Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 I think we'll be fine if the guys drive to the net and go to the dirty areas tonight. I didn't see them doing that last night. Bye tends to leave the passing lanes wide open and they leave a lot of space uncovered in front of the net. I'm not sure what to call their system other than an open zone. And I don't really expect much pressure from them on special teams. Quote

Hayduke Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Blais would play with the lights off. I'm guessing if Hak played Bye in the National Championship, Bye would win. Quote
farce poobah Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Here's hoping Jordan Schmaltz brings his A game tonight. He was pretty much invisible last night. 1 Quote
The Sicatoka Posted December 20, 2014 Author Posted December 20, 2014 Here's hoping Jordan Schmaltz brings his A game tonight. He was pretty much invisible last night. At least Nick has a reason for being invisible last night: He was playing for Team USA against BU. Quote

Jeremy_und2004 Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 If we go another game without registering a shot, I say we just forfeit the season. If I was Hak after last nights performance, I wouldn't even show up. Quote
siouxnami Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Can't be overconfident, these people swept Wisconsin. 3 Quote
siouxnami Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Really embarrassing if we don't get a point out of this tournament. Quote
SiouxTupa Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 @UNDmhockey: Hakstol says St Clair and Stecher are in the lineup tonight. Murphy once again the odd man out. Quote
farce poobah Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 This would be a good night to give McIntyre a game off. Quote
MafiaMan Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Really embarrassing if we don't get a point out of this tournament. Haven't looked this bad since last year's British Columbia exhibition fiasco... Quote
burd Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 Bunch of Gopher recruits in the stands tonight wondering wtf. 1 Quote

Emerald joker Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I'm guessing if Hak played Bye in the National Championship, Bye would win. LMAO, the "hot goalie syndrome." They should just play defense the entire game so they can at least tie, wait National Champion ship game, continuous OTs, sh#t.......i got nothing! Quote
