YaneA Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 SID tweeting Simpson has flu, became ill on bench, couldn't continue. Hopefully, no film at 10. Quote

Wilbur Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Thoughts on Sunday's game: ~Big game from Clark. Nice to have a senior step up and take charge. ~Schmaltz making strides. He had to be the guy after Simpson went down. ~Glad Hak figured Rocco and Drake had to play together.....but Mitch isn't the other wing.....heck no. ~I liked the ticked off physical Rocco. Almost took a five. But nice to see him play with an edge and be noticed other than the score sheet. ~Lots of guys stepped up. In a season of few positives, I'll take it and run with it. I predicted a split this weekend, and they got it. Hope they get some bodies back next weekend. Quote
siouxweet Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 this would be a perfect week to have a bye, but let's build off the win and get some points against the dogs. Quote
SiouxScore Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Badly needed win to end the skid, team needs to get healthy and start playing at a higher level consistently starting this Friday with Duluth. Quote
burd Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 ~I liked the ticked off physical Rocco. Almost took a five. But nice to see him play with an edge and be noticed other than the score sheet. Grimaldi is a team player, so he will give it everything, but I think he is also aware that he has to show he can handle the physical game for the next level. Can't say P Kane hits much, but Rocco knows he has to prove he can't be pushed aside. Quote

MafiaMan Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Stick salute after game one win was different... then they did it again after tonight's loss. Odd. Lots of teams salute the fans after every home game, win or lose. Quote

MissSioux85 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Lots of teams salute the fans after every home game, win or lose. I quite like the fact that UND is one of the few teams that only salutes after a sweep. 1 Quote
willythekid Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Ugly win but the boys should get some respect for not giving up. I hope they just keep building on this from here on out. Quote
tnt Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Hopefully they can keep the flu bug contained. Can't afford to be even more shorthanded. Quote

MafiaMan Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 I quite like the fact that UND is one of the few teams that only salutes after a sweep. I like that too, but nothing wrong with saluting fans who stick around (no pun intended) and watch a loss. Quote
MissSioux85 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Via Schlossman Hakstol said a couple of forwards weren't available at the end of the game because of injury. Parks was one. Ugh! Go away, Injury Ninja! Quote
Gma loves hockey Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Seems like our injuries of a couple years ago was what brought the team together. Maybe we can get the injuries done before the new year and have a cohesive team by then also? Here's hoping. Quote
Goon Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 (edited) Via Schlossman Ugh! Go away, Injury Ninja! Ah yes the injury Ninja... I don't like that guys @injuryninja Edited November 11, 2013 by Goon Quote

Goon Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 Goon, do you have video of yesterdays goals? Nope, only in my mind... I will for 8 more UND games and anything that shows up on DirecTV. Quote
808287 Posted November 11, 2013 Posted November 11, 2013 We scored but that was the worst 2 on 0 I've ever seen. I have no idea how Parks scored on that, it almost looked like an accident. It wasn't a wrap-around. Parks was confused. 1 Quote

Wilbur Posted November 13, 2013 Posted November 13, 2013 Just watched the end of the Sunday game.....all credit to the boys......could barely skate at the end they were so gassed. Helluva effort boys. Quote
