I can't really read this, but it may be your answer?  https://www.grandforksgov.com/home/showpublisheddocument/54855

In addition to the updated interchange.  The golf course is going to get a major redesign.

Number 1 - no change

Number 2 - par 5 - is going to be two holes.  1) par 4 (old tee box/new green) 3) par 3 (new tee box/slight modes on old green).

Number 3 - no change

Number 4 - new tee box/new green still par 3

Number 5 - new tee box

Number 6 - new green - shorten to a par 4

Number 7 - gone

Number 8 - reworked new tee box/new hreen still par 3

Number 9 - no change.

Previously was a par 36 (2-5/2-3)

New course looks like a par 33 (no par 5s, and 3 par 3s - rest all par 4s)

Someone posed a question tonight that we couldn’t figure at jusys

why is Columbia bridge always closed but demers over pass never

Columbia was a two lane clusterfuck when it was originally built and they quickly realized it needed to be 4 lanes but tried to save money converting it.  Decades later it's pulling and falling apart and has been for several years.  They literally need to lift the bridge deck and rebuild it.  If you're Catholic, cross yourself everytime you go over it until they shut it down.  It's a mini I-35 in waiting - the inconvenience of having it shut down for 3 months will be worth it.  A pain in the ass but worth it.

PS - Hard to believe the Mensa Roundtable at Jusys couldn't figure it out.  I live to serve.

couldn't they scale back the residential stuff and use vertical space and keep it a par 36 ffs by using some of the land towards the east

Minneapolis’ Surly Brewing announces taproom and pizzeria in Grand Forks

Surly is expanding its footprint to the UND campus in partnership with Short or Tall Eatery & Drink Hall of Rogers, which is also opening a second location that will adjoin the Surly space. Both of the beer-heavy eateries will be located at the foot of a new five-story residential complex in Grand Forks called Memorial Village, across from the school’s Memorial Stadium along N. Columbia Road.

Any mention of charitable gambling?  UND has a chance to finally get their foot in the door without taking an opportunity away from an existing non profit.  The cause would match well with the location near the athletics facilities.

Canada to US crossings at Pembina down 39.95% in March YOY from 2024 to 2025. FM and GF Visitors bureaus are worried about the impact.

Wow.  The timing of the temporary relocation of the bombers to the Grand Forks AFB couldn't have been better, to help compensate for the loss of Canadian traffic.

Assuming Rhombus's 1883 Ale is no longer being sold, this could be a great opportunity for an amazing UND branded beer with much greater distribution.  Very cool news though - this will be a well known destination similar to the Blue Moose, Parrots Cay, Toasted Frog, Red Pepper, etc.

It will be interesting to see how these new businesses on campus changes things.
