But there is one difference, and the UMTC faithful keep acting like it isn't an issue! Goaltending!!! Sioux will out do them with that one key position! And being a grittier team too. Gopher players think they're all All-Stars and don't have to get dirty or battle in the corners. This was true 2 or 3 years ago...The Gophers have a different make-up now and Guentzel has added a little sandpaper to their attitudes. I don't think anybody expected them to go undefeated all year long. Even the 1986-87 Sioux team lost 8 games. The Gophers are still the best team in college hockey in spite of what happened last night. I guess we will find out Monday on the rankings...
