bcblues Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Well, I hope all the Sioux fans are enjoying St Patrick's Day in St. Paul. Just look at all the green! GOOOOOOOO, SIOUX! SIOUX! Quote
wsdSIOUXfalls Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 And I hope the players rested up last night and today... and are waiting until tomorrow to celebrate! Quote
bcblues Posted March 17, 2012 Author Posted March 17, 2012 Roger that! Although Denver players are probably still on IV fluid and oxygen. Quote
Hayduke Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Gotta wear green! I really want this win. Maybe even more than an NCAA championships. Here is why. This *could* be the final game ever for the Sioux jersey. I want the Sioux name and jersey to go out on top. But, I know they will play hard to win. I like what Hak said about them knowing they are playing for a championship. That's all the motivation they need. 1 Quote
IrishSiouxFan Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Denver should never be taken lightly, although they looked pretty banged up they are still very much dangerous. If we play the way we did in last night's third period we should be hanging at least one new banner up in the Ralph next year! Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 If we come out hard and push them early they will run out of gas and be helpless Quote
Oxbow6 Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Let's win this game tonight, hoist the trophy then look forward to the #1 seed next weekend back at the X with an opportunity to potentially end the Goph's season on the way to the Frozen 4! Quote
krangodance Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 This has probably been mentioned somewhere but the Sioux have outscored the competition 25-10 on their way to a 6-0-0 record in March. Quote
sioux rube Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Let's win this game tonight, hoist the trophy then look forward to the #1 seed next weekend back at the X with an opportunity to potentially end the Goph's season on the way to the Frozen 4! They do win it tonight they better hoist that trophy instead of avoiding it like last year. We all know that didn't work out to well last year. Quote
Sioux_Hab-it Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Great News for Sioux fans in Canada. According to the Bell TV Schedule The Score will be picking up thefeed for the Championship Game, starting at 8 pm Eastern. Go Sioux. Quote

Smoggy Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Already re-watched last nights game. Now got the CCHA title game on. What a dead arena. Not even half full. Kinda funny that Gwoz couldn't watch last nights game because Directv went on fritz at the hotel. The beginnning of this game could be ugly. I think it take a period for both to get legs back and the emotion back. Quote
geaux_sioux Posted March 17, 2012 Posted March 17, 2012 Anyone think it's weird to not ride the hot hand in net for Denver? I know the other guy did well against us last time but Brittain just played the game of his life, he has to be confident. Quote
Wilbur Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 I thought DU would go with Brittain too, but I assume they're just holding him out for the NCAA's. Coming off a five period game on a surgically repaired knee, I'm guessing that they are just trying to limit his minutes. The Freshman they've got going instead of Brittain ain't a bad tender. Juho played very well against the Sioux earlier this year. Quote
Oilcan89 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 WTF? Classic rock on 96.1. It was live from the X a few minutes ago? Quote
Oilcan89 Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 game back on 96.1 now. Tech dificulties they say. Quote
