Hawkster Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 A month ago I would have said CP by 20. Things do look different now. I'm saying UND by 1. 31-30. Quote

I honestly don't think we have a chance against poly IF we give up 30 points. Against a run option team, generally you need to limit them to 2/3 yard runs, which turns into long(time) drives. I Don't know if we have the fire power to score 31 points in limited amount of time offensively. I'm going to predict UND 21-17. Go Sioux! Quote
homer Posted October 20, 2011 Author Posted October 20, 2011 I think the defense plays well and limits their running game by not giving up any big plays. Offense continues to run the ball well but our scoring plays come through the air. Sioux win 23-14. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I am having a very hard time predicting this one. We don't know how good either team truly is at this point. My gut tells me UND will pull it off. UND: 27 Cal-Poly: 20 Quote
mizzou/sioux Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I think the Sioux will need to score at least 21 points to win. Let's go for 21-17 UND. Quote
Feff Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 I'm genuinely excited for this game, finally a decent team coming in and challenging us at home. Hopefully the crowd should be good and we get to see a great game. I haven't missed a UND football game in years, and I talked my wife out of going to a cousin's house warming just so I could go to this game! (To be honest, she wasn't keen on going to the house warming either) 1 Quote
JohnboyND7 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 UND lost a D-Line starter correct? If so, Poly 30 UND 21 Quote
Hayduke Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 Hate to be a downer and I hope I am wrong. Cal-Poly 27 UND 21 Quote
darell1976 Posted October 20, 2011 Posted October 20, 2011 UND lost a D-Line starter correct? If so, Poly 30 UND 21 Only Broc Bellmore our #1 DL on the team. Hopefully someone else will step in and take over. Quote
UND92,96 Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 Per SFI, Cal Poly's best defensive player, Asa Jackson, reportedly has a broken bone in his foot. If he's out or seriously hobbled, that could be a big factor on Saturday. Quote
coachdags Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 This will be the first home game I've had to miss since 1999. I have four tickets--excellent seats. PM me if you are interested--will give them away. Thank You !..I will make the extra Family members CHEER LOUD..! Quote

coachdags Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 You're welcome. I do not make many predictions, but you are going to miss a Exciting WIN!...(sorry) 1 Quote
SloStang Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 The only prediction I am going to make is the winner of this game will win the last Great West Championship before heading to the Big Sky. Should be a great game. Got to say the Sioux have to be the favorite seeing that it is in Grand Forks, but I can see it going either way. Wish I could be there, but will be glue to my TV. Is it Saturday monring (11:00 am PST) yet? Can not wait. Quote

sioux24/7 Posted October 21, 2011 Posted October 21, 2011 I have a feeling that Bradley is going to finally break the 200 yard mark! 1 Quote
Cratter Posted October 22, 2011 Posted October 22, 2011 Lots (a group) of Cal Poly fans at Joe Blacks tonight. Quote

Rodgers getting to the corner against the Sioux defense. Do you know if Asa is going to play and if not how is the depth at that corner. Good Luck and my best team win tomorrow. Quote

I do know that SUU threw for 207 yards in the first half with Asa in last week and only 90 in the second half with him on the side line. Last year Nico Molino and Bejon Samoodi split time at the other CB spot and I would guess that if Asa does not play they will be the starters. Vante Johnson has alos seen a lot of time at both CB and safety and he will probably see time there too. Quote
