collegehockeywatcher Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Is this the first recruit we have pulled from the central league? I honestly cannot remember the last college player coming from this league. Wow. You might want to look at national champs' roster from last year. Check out current #4 Colgate's lineup. How about your own team's 2013-2014 players? Quote

scpa0305 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Clark Saunders played for Brockville before going to UAH and UND. Thanks!Ā I do like this kid Peski, from the sounds of it.Ā Puts up good numbers.Ā What I was trying to point out is I rarely see kids from this league, most likely due to location (and no, I do not follow the ECAC).Ā That league does have some notable alumni though. Ā In looking at the youtube clip of him, he looks solid.Ā The league looked more similar to Minnesota high school hockey (metro area).Ā I'm wondering if he doesn't give the USHL a try next year. choyt3 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 I'm looking forward to seeing Yon's game translate to the college system. He seems like a player that will really shine with players of similar talent. Could be wrong. Quote
NewUNDAlum Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 So how would people rank our guys that have signed as of now? Quote

He seems like a player that will really shine with players of similar talent. Could be wrong. I really liked his game in last years state tourny. Hopefully his consistency and defense have improved. He's got a nice shot and is relentless on the puck. I think he'll be good once he gets here. Quote

He seems like a player that will really shine with players of similar talent. Could be wrong. Hopefully well.Ā He doesn't play for a high scoring team in the USHL (Fargo), however his numbers areĀ a lot lower than I thought they would be given his age.Ā It is his first full year in the USHL however.Ā Hopefully it's the Brodsinski effect. geaux_sioux Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Do we know who's expected to come in? Let's assume the Schmaltz boys stay. Quote
scpa0305 Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Do we know who's expected to come in? Let's assume the Schmaltz boys stay. Jordan just has to be gone.Ā It wouldn't surprise me if Ladue takes off as well.Ā Anyone think Caggs could bolt too if he continues his big year? Quote
The Sicatoka Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 Do we know who's expected to come in? Let's assume the Schmaltz boys stay. Ā Under your assumption (no early departures):Ā Ā Lose (2D, 5F): Mattson, Panzarella, Gaarder, Parks, MarkMac, O'Donnell, Pattyn Ā Bring in (2D, 5F): Chartrand, Wolanin, Rowe, Yon, Gardner, Gersich, Wilkie Ā My (admittedly) guess is based on date of birth (oldest guys in pipeline come in).Ā Ā That would leave 4D, 4F in pipeline: Shaw, Peski, Evers, Kierstad, Bowen, Cakebread, Mattson, Senden Quote
