DeMars just turned 16. We likely won’t see him for 3 years unless he has a breakout year. He could’ve been in next year’s cycle.

Dang!  I was hoping we'd see Boomer Sooner!

I have a good feeling about this one

You think it's a Canadian 2008 who is a high profile draft eligible & already produced in junior or a high profile Canadian/American 2009?

He’ll be a CHL guy. He most likely went on a visit this weekend before their camp starts next week.

Probably not a high profile 2008. They will probably wait until the season is over and field NIL offers. I hope I’m wrong.

Very solid pickup for this cycle

Now...can UND re-establish the SSM connection and grab one or two of his SSM linemates from the Four Nations tourney?

Love this one

Based on the article it sounds like he is o.k. with his arrival on campus being open ended.  We need guys committed to the program that allow a little flexibility in recruiting, especially with CHL players in the mix now who may not commit to college hockey until after they are drafted.

Top ten pick in both USHL and WHL is encouraging.

Article said he's back at SSM this year.  Wonder where he'll go after that.  He'll have options!
Judging by his numbers, seems to be a nice setup guy...he was piling up the assists at the Four Nations as well.

The problem with going back to Shattuck is that we don't have a better idea of how his game translates to higher levels. Would have liked to see him in junior (whether it be in the USHL or the Dub) for his 16 year old season, but understand why he's going back to Shattuck.
