He was a little shaky for a few shifts in the third, but he weathered the storm. Sanderson looks like a 10-year veteran out there.

I was wondering if that is family or something.  I have seen that each time I have turned on a Carolina game lately.  Either UND or a Carolina Blake.

It’s 2 young kids who started dressing as Seth Jarvis and Jackson Blake for Halloween. They’ve kept it going all year. Season ticket holders I’m guessing.

Indeed.  Was concerned that he still needed to fill out a bit more and could have used one more season at UND to do that and work on reliability, but seemingly he was able to do that over last summer and has had one heck of a rookie year.  Not hard to imagine the UND season going a fair bit better had he been around, but perhaps it ends up a win-win in the long run.  He found success and the team has gotten a reset in staff.  Success there is to be determined but there have been some promising signs so far.

That was Tyson Jost's problem and I'm glad it didn't turn out Jost 2.0

He was so good last year. A little dinged up at the end of the season. But overall, he was one of the very best college players I witnessed last year. Again, those players move on.

And he was at UND 2 years. Jost left after one. I think one more year could have made a difference for Jost.

I think we saw last year the reason he definitely could make it to the NHL, because of the way he thinks the game and was two steps ahead of other guys.  It is amazing that someone with his size, and not really as fast as a lot of smaller guys, can be such an impact player right away.  His hockey mind is truly elite.
