    I was asking about the NCHC first round? Do we miss out on a large chunk of revenue and then have to incur the expenses of traveling? Could be a good story for Brad but doubt we’ll ever know

    Too narrow, ncaa soccer field needs to be 70+ yards wide. Could pull out the track to make it happen, but didn’t they just dump a bunch of money into the current field?

    Why only 4 of 9 teams? Seems low to me.

    REA runs the UND ticket office correct? Pays the salaries of those people, marketing, staffing, etc.

    What’s the logo we have at our football game facility? Wonder if the president is going to demand a new logo there too!

    I would think Lennon would be going after the other coordinator.

    Either way it's going to cost UND at a time when there is budget struggles. Jones has leverage for a new deal or if they go a different route they'll have to pay much more than they are now. It will be interesting to watch both the MBB and WIH coaching decisions. Fasion will have some very interesting decisions to make.

    Sounds like finalists are the Minot State head coach, the UNI head coach and a HC for a DI school out east

    It's the Simple Rating System that mirrors the selection (provided teams meet the minium selection criteria). I don't believe the first one has come out yet this year.

    Maybe we could fully fund all of our sports scholarships if we quit giving away free tution to a fan at some of our sports. I think this decision reveals that we will be switching conferences and the leadership believes that their will be enough cost savings to cover the deficeit. They also identified was to raise aditional revenue (increase ticket prices, renegoitate contracts, etc.), I call that a win win. Keep in mind if we cut Swim and Dive, Softball, Soccer, thats close to 100 students, most of who are on partial scholarship. I don't think that would help the university overall..

    I do think its time to raise the ticket prices of FB, MBB, WBB and Hockey, regardless of the outcome...it's time that we fans start picking up our end of the bargin.
