  1. I have 4 lower bowl tix available for Friday night versus Vermont. Section 107 row A. PM me if interested. Tix are in GF.
  2. Parking lot on the south side of the Betty has plenty of free parking.
  3. I can only speak for myself, but I think it's still a pretty good deal. I have 4 season tix(split the cost with my dad actually)at $90/ticket=$360. Add in $100 for two tailgate spots for a total of $460 or $115 per ticket. Divide that by 7 games and paying around $16.50 per ticket/parking spot...which in this day and age, is a pretty good bargain.
  4. Doh...I knew that... just a mid afternoon brain fart.
  5. This I whole heartedly agree with this. Even if there aren't recruits to get in ND, the staff should still be making the rounds and keeping it's connections open. If, as some poster have alluded to, that isn't the case with our current coaches, that is unacceptable and one more reason we need to make a change.
  6. I agree that it would be nice to get some more talent from the tri state area...as long as the talent is there. As for Wisconsin, UND has always recruited it pretty hard. Wisconsin has a ton of football players and only one DI school and 0 DII schools. There is a lot of talent to take from Wisconsin and I hope we continue to have a presence there.
  7. I've seen enough of Mussman coached teams to know he needs to go. If, by some chance, EWU overlooks us and we win, nothing changes in my book. The only possible way I change my mind is if the team wins out and they do so the right way...meaning disciplined, assignment and fundamental sharp football.
  8. Does anyone else think it's strange when Mussman does one of the flying chest bump things with a player following an interception? How many other head coaches do you see doing that? Especially when your team is performing as badly as his was all game long. There is nothing about Muss that shows me he is head coach material. I predicted they would win today but that it would be ugly...and it was. I'm not sure this team will win anymore games.
  9. Sounds Like ISU is excited for this game...perhaps they sense a little blood in the water. http://www.idahostatejournal.com/members/isu-football-is-fired-up-for-north-dakota/article_aa12a248-2bed-11e3-8122-001a4bcf887a.html#.Uk2RbAkFPoo.twitter Oh...and it's homecoming for ISU. I will pick UND to win...but not by much and it won't be pretty.

This is pretty sad if true and shows just how much work will have to be put in by the new coaching staff. I read somewhere, probably bville, that coach Bohl visits every ND High School at some point during the year. We can make fun of his speeding tickets in trying to do so all we want, but that's the kind of dedication, networking, and work ethic our staff seem to be missing.
  11. Ok, another Muss coached team. When was the last time we gave up that many at home?
  12. When was the last time UND gave up 62 points?

It shouldn't be Faisons job to do that...
  14. I don't even know what'll to say anymore. I wish I could say there's only one way to go, which is up, but I don't think we've hit bottom yet. A loss at ISU or another blowout agains EWU, then maybe. This is the most down I've felt about the program in a long while. I'm not a big donor to the program but I still feel the need to send an email to Faison about the state of the program on Monday. I'm gonna stay for the first series or two of the second half just to see how many fans are still around. Sad that that's the only reason to stick around...
  15. Typically when pitchers throw at someone, they aim for the upper arm or their backside. I haven't seen the initial beaning you are referring to however.
  16. Your saying that Freeman started the whole thing? You better re watch the video if that's what you think...
  17. It's one thing to get excited about hitting a home run and celebrating...then there's what Carlos Gomez did. He wasn't celebrating, he was taunting and chirping at anyone and everyone. No place for that in the game. He's supposed to be a "professional" baseball player. His antics going around the bases were anything but professional.
  18. I wasn't criticizing the coaching staff, and I agree that they have played well come tourney time. You're also right about the Weber st. game. But come tourney time, there are going to be a lot of close games as teams know its win or go home. I guess I was just trying to make the point that Shay's addition should be acknowledged also. And in a close game, sometimes a coaching decision can be the difference.
  19. Purely speculation on my part, but the BSC may have an easier time moving up due to lack of programs in the west. Granted there is less population also. Currently in the West you only have three football playing conferences, The Pac-12, MWC, and the Big Sky. Lot more conferences sponsoring football in the east meaning a lot more competition in moving up to an existing FBS conference. Less (new) FBS schools in the west would make it more expensive for existing FBS schools...if that makes sense. It also doesn't hurt to have Montana and Montana State in the conference as they are positioned fairly well to move up to FBS. If the BSC could attract the 'SU's and UND financially commits to FBS, That would be a pretty good core to move up. Again, purely speculation on my part.
  20. I think another big piece to the potential of this team is the addition of Jason Shay as an assistant coach. He appears to be someone who can who has coached in "big time" games which will hopefully help our guys come tourney time.
  21. Agree with everything you said except the turnover part. The vikes intercepted Hoyer 3 times and they got the muffed punt and they still lost...pathetic!
  22. Exactly. Who cares if the Bison faithful chant this. Both sides are making way too big a deal of it. We are rivals, no matter how hard some try to disprove the idea. We are two similar schools located 70 miles apart. Like or not, we will always be rivals and fans will come up with disparaging chants about each other. It's no different than any other rivalry in the country. In fact, it's more tame than many of the bigger rivalries at the big schools. Until we get a new name and Bison fans stop being lazy and get creative to come up with a new chant, the Sioux ____ chant will not go away...even then, it will still be heard...
