I stayed for the whole game against SDSU because we were competing and I felt like we were going to somehow win that game. Unfortunately the Montana game was just the opposite. The players played with no passion, made mistake after mistake, and seemed rather aloof on the sidelines. I walked out towards the end of the third quarter. If the team gives up and doesn't seem to care...then neither do I.

It's one thing to lose a game. It's an entirely different thing to get blown out at home in the manner in which we did. Take nothing away from the Griz cause they are a damn fine football team, but UND fans expect better from our team and program. If there was something positive to be taken from this game, we would. But most of us are having a hard time finding anything positive to at least give us a glimmer of hope that the season can be salvaged. We aren't striving to be a middle of the pack BSC team. We expect to be a BSC contender more years than not. So far we have shown nothing that gives us hope that we are able to compete with the best of the BSC.

Do you expect UND officials to respond to a fan message board on weekends at your every question. If you want a response I recommend you contact the appropriate University official directly via email. We are fortunate UND officials choose to post here but by no means should we demand answers on a Non-UND website.

Give it a rest already. Crowd or no crowd, we don't have a good team right now.

I'm more concerned about defense than the QB'S position. We need to show something...anything. The offense, no matter who's at QB's has shown they can move the ball.

Sioux Falls game was worse...but not by much. Why don't u sit miller for a couple plays after taking a stupid penalty?

As someone else said...run it up Mick...can only help to end the Mussman era sooner.

Unfortunately I was drinking the green kook aid last week. We didn't look great but at least the team showed heart and didn't give up. What I'm witnessing tonight is just pathetic. I have no other words on jow to describe it. Our defense blows coverage after coverage. We keep make boneheaded penalties. Just don't know what to say anymore. Mussman can recruit some skill ayers but that's the only positive thing I can say about him. This team was not prepared for tonight's game.

All Mussman said is they will continue to split reps. He didn't say it would be 50-50. It very well could be 80-20 in favor of Joe. Not much of a quote to read anything into in my opinion.

Well, nice to see it's the Frosh scoring. Hopefully it means we have some nice, young talent being brought in. (So many things wrong with the way I worded that) :-)

Nice, would this be UND's first win of the season?

I was on my feet and working on losing my voice during the 4th quarter last week, although its not because of your encouragement. I will say you definitely do your part to get the crowd involved though. Students were involved in the game until SDSU got to 35 points, then they were gone. Don't get me wrong, the students have done a great job showing up and cheering. They just do it for three quarters and leave (can't blame them for leaving early in week one). I was so hoping we would have come back and forced OT/beat SDSU so the people who left early would've felt they missed out and perhaps they would stick around a little longer next time. At least attendance is better (especially the students) and more people are staying past halftime...hopefully that trend continues.

Not defending the poll. Just correcting 'Biz' that 'Nova did lose to an FBS school as opposed to losing to nobodies. Rankings don't matter at this point in the season...just gives rubes like us something to talk about :-)

One of Villanova's losses came to BC, an FBS school EDIT: Villanova actually led at half time 14-7 before losing by 10 24-14.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but sounds like Denarius McGhee will be out until at least October. Suddenly that MSU game doesn't look quite as daunting.

I was at the game and that stuck out for me too. I remember having to look at the roster to see who #23 was. Hopefully he continues to do well on special teams and works his way in to some regular playing time.

Are those the same sites that had Braden Hanson ranked as a top 15-20 for graduating QB's last year? I believe he was around #15 on an espn site last year as well.

Agreed, thus my prediction on a 70-0 UND victory. Too much pessimism going on right now. Believe me, I have some doubts as well, but it's early in the season, we have a top 10 team at home and have a chance to make a statement to the rest of FCS. I'm in full blown "homer" mode for this week. Time to show the Bunnies why they haven't won in GF since 1989!!!

It does depend on the age of the computer but you can also buy an HDMI to VGA adapter if needed. HDMI is the way to go.

Congrats to the bison on the win. Until UND wins an FBS game, we should probably just leave it at that. A win against any FBS school is a good win. UND has played a few "cupcake" FBS schools (we had difficulty competing with Idaho) and unfortunately haven't been able to take one out...yet. Hopefully that win will come sooner than later.
