Whatever happens, I just want to see an energetic and hungry team on Thursday.

Not a tired, sluggish team that can't get pucks to the net.

Just compete at a high level and I think we'll do just fine.

Absolutely, this team has all the talent and pieces to do this.

We haven't had any NCAA tourney luck against universities in the last decade, but we are undefeated against colleges, so look out Merrimack!

Are you defining “college” as a school that does not offer graduate degrees?

Freshman Jan Spunar has gotten the bulk of the work in net, and has been really good at times, and not great other times.

While I admit he certainly didn't play his best in the NCHC semifinal game...that's an odd comment for the NCHC Goalie of the Year.

Quote

“We’re excited,” Merrimack coach Scott Borek said. “We’re playing one of the best teams in the country. We’re playing in their home rink, essentially. You’re guaranteed a great atmosphere. It should be a great experience for our players and our program.”

Weird quote there too.
People realize that this rink is in another state, right?
And it's in a rink that UND has never played in?  That is over four hours away from their actual home rink?

well considering how many people in here always use the phrase “it’s always a home game”, the comment seems to just agree with that. Credit him for mentioning a great atmosphere and great experience for the kids.

Worcester to Albany - 130 miles

Basically most of the Albany to Boston drive down I-90 (Mass Turnpike). I've done it once both ways and it's quick once you're out of the Boston city limits

Can anyone here validate that a parking pass at Sanford is not needed?  Also, what is the concession stand situation, choices, etc.?

Was just there for a Stampede game this past Friday and parking was free.  I assume/hope it'll be the same for this regional. Concession situation is pretty good there, cool bar area etc

My favorite at USCHO:

In the old paradigm North Dakota went to the eastern regional. In the new paradigm the eastern regional goes to North Dakota.

Never been to an NCAA regional before.  May be a dumb question, but if I go check out the first game at 4, then leave the arena, will I be allowed re-entry for the 730?  I have all-session tickets

Historically, no. One ticket, two games, one entry.

About the same exact distance as if Merrimack was playing a "home game" at Xfinity Mobile Arena in Philadelphia.

Did not need one when we sponsored the last one in Sioux Falls
