The way Reschny had to be helped off the ice isn’t good. Got a bad feeling he is done for the year, hopefully he can come back sometime this year. Time for payback in the third.

And Cleveland will get away without consequence. Would love to hear the anti-fighting crowd tell me how the game is safer when guys can throw cheap shots like that without facing repercussions

Problem is with the NCAA rules, if you go for payback, you probably get a 5 minute major and said player gets a 3 game suspension.

The only actual anti fighting crowd is the NCAA, who wants to avoid lawsuits in regards to CTE/brain damage. Honestly, the NCAA just needs to get players to sign a waiver form regarding fighting & you can't sue them for fighting related injuries if fighting is legalized

I mostly agree, but there's a good number of hockey journalists who get very holier-than-thou about the fighting stuff. They're mostly who I mean when I refer to the "anti-fighting crowd"
